          Today’s killer was particularly BRUTAL, && Spencer himself had some trouble, at first, looking over the case files. So much blood, so much DISMEMBERMENT, so much pain; it was certainly a lot to process, even for hardened VETERANS.               She’s not exactly sure what she’s just walked into, but it had to be better than where she had been. But she’s not entirely sure she’s out of danger. But she had lost the people shadowing her for now, but she’s thankful for the kindness all the same. She had been more occupied with her new surroundings that it took her a second to realize she had been asked a question. “Oh, I’m Mya.” It was not her name, but it was her cousins, so not an entire lie.           Seeing his brother, eye nearly SWOLLEN shut && black, nose crooked && an ice pack held to the side of his head, makes him feel almost sick. He feels HORRIBLE; he should have been there to keep him from rushing in like that, to PROTECT him && keep this from happening. Seeing his mirror image like this makes him realize just how the rest of the team must feel when he does the same — rushing in front of a gun without a MOMENT’S THOUGHT. If Jayden had died in there, he would have died with him. When he begs him to tell him WHY he did it, it only makes him feel worse — how could he miss his brother feeling so INSECURE?? They practically new everything about each other, so how could he miss the signs of his twin feeling so LOST??

You’re one of the bravest men I know. ❜❜ He tries desperately to keep the REGRET from seeping into his tone; the last thing he needs is to make his brother feel even WORSE. He reaches out to hold the other Reid’s hands, though his grip is LOSE in case Jayden decides he’d rather sign than speak. ❛❛ You don’t have to rush headlong into danger to prove that to anyone. ❜❜
