Her eyes widened, feeling like the metaphorical clouds had just parted and the sun was shining through. It was a dog! It felt like it had been forever since she’d seen one--Well, Fou was close enough she supposed but..more of a strange squirrel...if squirrels were vaguely cloud shaped with huge ears. 

Still, she couldn’t help herself as she tentatively made her way over to the dark haired young woman and the dog. “Ah, um, is that your dog?” she asked sheepishly, rubbing the back of her neck. It’d sound weird if she said it had been a while since she’d seen a dog, right? 

Come to think of it, hadn’t she heard a dog barking somewhere in the apartment complex the other day? She wondered briefly if it was this one. Still, staring at the furry friend, she couldn’t help but feel ridiculously happy. “So cute..”
