Because I really like the fabric I designed here are more pictures! I had to use non traditional materials to create a unique design, so naturally I chose beads and sequins as well as some fun clear neon vinyl yardage and tubing. The weave is a 2/2 twill made on a point draw. Warp threads are pink with orange, black, and gold tie-ins leftover from a plaid I created. I randomly strung the beads, sequins, and cut up plastic tubing on a thin yarn which became part of the weft and spaced them randomly. Maybe you can see the connection between my design and the funfetti cake inspiration?? 🎂🎂🎂 #EffyWeaves
