I always had this scenario where I lived on an island, built every amenity by hand and had a village of monkeys that would live with me as equals. So, monkey village.

I saw your post regard Cis gender and yes, I can explain the difference between cis and straight. You can be gay, bi, pan, etc, any sexual orientation and still be cis. Cis simply means you ID with the gender you were born with (ie female body, feels totally female on the inside). Your gender orientation and sexual orientation are totally different. Cis just means "same side as" whereas "trans" means "to cross" so cis has nothing to do with trying to proclaim that you're straight.

sorry about getting back to this so late. For WHATEVER reason, my computer was messing up the coding for Tumblr’s layout so I couldn’t access anything easily. 

ANYWHO! you’re right. I actually didn’t mean to compare it to “Straight” technically (because I know they refer to 2 completely different things. identity and sexuality). I was tired and couldn’t find the proper wording for what I meant. I’m just wondering why theres a term for the default assumption of someone’s gender?? I guess? I know that sounds awful but as far as I know I’m technically cis…? but I don’t understand why people can’t be just called “female” or “male”…I just think that everyone is just complicating everything by making every single divergent some sort of title. Isn’t that whats tearing the world apart? Labels? Why can’t we all just be humans?
