Hi, hello, hola, beautiful friends! Thank you so much for the Sunday tags, @hushed-chorus, @artsyunderstudy, @fatalfangirl, @you-remind-me-of-the-babe, @larkral, and everyone else who has been tagging me on Wednesdays & Sundays of yore. ❤️❤️❤️ I very much appreciate it, and want to get back in the habit of sharing SOMETHING (no matter how itsy bitty teensy teensy) on these blessed days.

I am (rawr) still quite ill, hacking and coughing and worrying my poor spouse, but I am also trying to edit my beast of an EGF, tentatively titled Good night, good morning, good night. My working title was I'm (not) sorry for what I said when I was hangry, but I still think of it as The Kidnapping fic AKA the Fuck or Die That Turned into a Fuck or Talk.

Here's a SFW snippet from the first chap, where Baz is Not Having a Good Day:

“Hey,” the man-thing says, “you a vampire, then?” 

... Horrors and hells. 

“The folks who nabbed me, they said they were gonna throw me to a hungry vamp,” the man-thing says. “Are you actually hungry, or is thirsty more accurate?”

 Baz stops. 

Then he goes over to where he thinks the door is, and pounds on it with both of his manacled hands. “I KNOW YOU DIDN’T BELIEVE ME THE FIRST THIRTY TIMES I SAID THIS, BUT I REALLY WILL, ALEISTER CROWLEY AS MY FUCKING WITNESS, INCINERATE THIS ENTIRE PLACE!”

Six-Sentence Sunday

Oh hello! Had to drag myself back out of bed when I realized I had not been consistent with posting today! 😭 so tired.

In trying to decide which bit to share from my WIP'S I realized it all came down to which flavor of SnowBaz depression I felt like posting. 😬🤪 WOMP.

HOWEVER, I am planning to finish my unpublished EGF fic (I had worked on 2 last EGF, only published 1) and get it posted this upcoming EGF! and this one *tada* does not really, so much, explicitly deal with depression...there are intense feelings, deep emotions that do deal with their traumas but it's all working through it together in the moment...in an EGF context. 👀

Anyway, I'm getting wordy. The point is...I may actually finish this fic bc there is a DEADLINE. While the other fics can continue to languish indefinitely. 🙄

This fic is titled "Bl**dy Perfect" in my wip folder. Yes, very cryptic indeed. You will have no idea what this is about. 😂

TW: Baz and Simon have been playing with a bit of a back-and-forth power/control D/s dynamic over the course of this fic. This section only mentions the word control. Although they are in the midst of sexy times, It is not an explicit passage. Baz sort of caught up in the moment of intensity says some true things. This deals more with emotions and working through trauma/processing and how that affects each of them and their relationship sexually and emotionally.

“Real control, Simon…is in having knives behind my lips and a hunger that aches to devour you…and instead letting the hunger consume me. That’s control.”

“I know.” He touches me then—his thumb running gentle lines on my face. “I know,” he says again. “You’re so strong, Baz. You always have been.” 

I see in his eyes the truth of his words. He folds his hand to run his knuckles across my cheek and down my jaw. “But…you can let go, Baz. I’m here with you…and I’m not scared.” He holds my gaze and I can’t help but lean into his touch. “I’m not scared.”
