These two 200 pages anthologies are so far most curious of my findings. Not even because of content because it’s usual anthology stuff (lots of various artists, mostly gag stories, also both Genos and Sonic trying to get into Saitama pants), but because I found them on “official manga” floors?
One in Ikebukuro’s Toranoana and other in Animate on Akihabara at different times in past two weeks.
I’ve got no idea if these are semi-official fanbooks or just those doujinshi publishers (?? have no idea if this even a thing here??) have enough influence to land on general manga floor.
one is published by F-books as part of doujin party anthology and other by MOOG Comics. The former being more of a GenoSai focused while latter is all characters so it also features Sonic, Tatsumaki and plenty of Zombieman.

OKAY to change the subject for a moment, I want to talk about Genos.
I’ve been making the hair reference sheet hahaha, and I have to admit that while the spikey look is pretty iconic, I really like the new hairstyle that came up with recent upgrade in manga. IDK his hair looks so soft right now? I guess because they’re bit longer in places, hance making them less spikey. I really dig the longer strands look ,_,’
And I want to preface it that I know it’s most likely just mangaka style fluctuating, but oh well, it still gave me that weird headcanon, that we during the series run we actually witness Genos being “aged up”.
Early manga chapter Genos looked really young compared to late chapters/anime version when I think about it. Like he could be 15. Now he seems to have a bit more mature look fitting his age haha.

saitama finds genos torn, body parted in two halves. he kneels down near genos head. there's a finger-long, thin tooth stuck near genos eye. he pulls it out. "oh, shit" black oil gushes out, staining both of their faces, pooling beside the cyborg. genos struggles to wipe the mess out of his senseis face, babbling apologies,about his battle babbling and babbling until saitama sighs and just kisses him, smearing the oil everywhere. "it's fine, you defeated it, good job."
