Eggman and Shadow make me crazy. Eggman had Shadow "rescued" and tried to keep him all to himself locked away for months between SA2 and Heroes and ever since has wished he still had him under his control. he tried really hard in Shadow 05 to have him back on his side, manipulating and gaslighting him and trying to butter him up a ton in the in game missions dialogue with him. he's still bitter and longs deeply to have him under his control and the Shadow 101 is all about him acknowledging his skills and use he'd be to him and getting worked up that he can't have him. Shadow was the one that got away but he still wishes he had him so bad but Shadow can't be owned and controlled like the obedient puppet, weapon and property he wants but he still dreams to the point it sets him off again if he reflects on it too much. god
