When Susie would open her eyes, she would find herself in a completely unfamiliar place; on the front step of an apartment building, in a grungy-yet-colorful corner of a grand metropolis.
More interesting than that are the two individuals currently looking her over: a six-foot-tall humanoid dog in a trench coat and unusual hat and a shorter, white-furred, rabbit-like humanoid with large, sharp teeth and beady little eyes. The latter was poking her curiously.
