SO REAL HOW IS IT ALL GOING!!!

IVE BEEN SO SLEEPY but I think my body needed all the rest to get rid of my cold!! and yeah I started a new job where I basically mix paint all day which would be fun if not for having to talk to customers. And!! My summer classes are in their final project stages, I'm taking web design and marine biology so I'm designing an app and making a powerpoint on cuttlefish!!! HOW ARE U???

not all asians are skinny pale koreans/japanese. they exist, yeah. but they aren’t the ONLY asian people. asians can have pigmented skin, asians can have freckles. asians can be dark and can have textured hair. please please PLEASE stop thinking that all asians are fair skinned and pale. a portion of us do look like that, but it kind of hurts to see my only representation look nearly nothing like me.

try thai or vietnamese representation too

or somewhere around there. laos and other small countries exist as well. there are people there.

also asians of different body types exist we aren’t all skinny models my guy

idk man this is kind of a rant but it really irks me when people throw in an asian character for “representation” but then only describe their asian characters as “fair/light skinned” with “silky/straight black hair”.

we can have acne, we can have skin conditions, we can have melanin. we exist and would like to be part of your “inclusiveness”.

anyway. YES. THAT. she gets it exactly there is so much reason to work for literacy and it is never easy. i grew up in a middle class family with well educated people for parents and i STILL have to make myself read and i still need to work on the reading comprehension (this is a skill i did not learn i was supposed to know until High School.) it's not something that is easy but it IS something that is incredibly important to understand our/other people's privilege and like. the world at large. grahhh. it was a really good essay

YEAH!!! I used to be so good at just reading all the time but once I hit like 8th grade I had to like. Fight for my life to open a book BUT even still I try to read as much as I can even if my goal for this year is just like 10 books!!! But yes, I'm glad u liked the essay!

HIII I FINALLY READ THE ESSAY. me when i said i was going to read it on my flight home literally two weeks ago (<- the scrollbar showed it being SO MUCH LONGER than it actually was so i became deeply unmotivated and then went wait What
