Adorable Egg Holder Transforms Your Produce into a Pack of Penguins

More egguins now in warmer colors!  There are a few more in similar colors in the pipeline coming out later this week too.  all colored with Amacobrent velvet underglazes randomly mixed to varying proportions.  Fired to cone six oxidation.  Egguins are like minions but more competent and less food-safe.  they are however dishwasher safe but are unable to wash your dishes.  they don’t need eyes to see.  They will have none of your lip thank you very much.  They have their own.  they’re all set.

Early egguins. The white ones were the very first, carved in plaster. Back in 2003. They are double the size of current egguins averaging at least six inches tall. The group shots are from my senior show in 2010. I got the varying colors by mixing oxides into the clay. All egguins from that era were fired to cone 10 in reduction. Since then some folks encouraged me to make some with open mouths. The results were horrifying as you can see. Egguins are basically minions. A portable fan club and also multi layered social commentary delivered in a friendly and agreeable form. More on the social commentary another time. They predate the Dreamworks minions by quite a lot and are more competent and less obnoxious.
