Thank you, @egmon73 for tagging me for this! I am terrible and breaking the rules, but I won’t be tagging anyone - most everyone I know has done it, so 15 is right out for me, but if you haven’t played yet, please consider yourself tagged!

1. Are you named after anyone?

Not really? I was named for the Welsh goddess of the sea. My mum wanted an English name, my dad wanted an Irish name, so they settled for Wales instead. XD

2. When was the last time you cried?

Last night, because I get emotional watching GBBO.

3. Do you have kids?

Nope.

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

Yeah, I do. Although, I think I use it more offline. Sarcasm is harder to detect online. Although when I’m on Twitter, I often can’t help myself...

5. What’s the first thing you notice about people?

Probably their general mood/demeanor. I tend to focus on how to greet or approach someone appropriately, and that’s a good indicator. Unless we’re talking about a physical attribute? Then probably eyes or hands.

6. What’s your eye color?

Hazel

7. Scary movie or happy ending?

Oof. It depends. I suppose happy ending, but I do like the occasional scary movie, if it has substance to it and isn’t just a slasher flick.

8. Any special talents?

Ehhhhhh... I like writing poetry. I’m a mediocre artist. I write music and make sound effects, as well as play several instruments and sing, but once it’s related to your job I’m not sure you can really call them ‘special’ talents anymore. I do quite a bit of crafting, though. Maybe that?

9. Where were you born?

Denver, Colorado ❤️

10. What are your hobbies?

Again, crafting. I like paper cutting, knitting, cross stitch, I sometimes make jewelry and I’m trying out felting. I might try some embroidery sometime soon. I enjoy writing. And travel. And riding my bike.

11. Have you any pets?

I wish, but no.

12. What sports do you play/have you played?

Not many since I was a kid, really. I fenced and played a little softball in my teens.

13. How tall are you?

5′11”

14. Favorite subject in school?

Almost all of them, really. English and science and history and theatre and music were probably my top faves... I was good at school, for better or worse.

15. Dream job?

I want to be a professor someday. I have the degree! Someone gimme the job! If we’re talking in any profession in the world that isn’t necessarily the one you chose, then it’d probably be FBI crminology special agent or DNA lab tech/analyst...

@lilynevin @merindab you know the beauty of all this? We are scattered around the world, different languages, upbringing, culture, but we can "mourn", learn and share feelings all thanks to a fandom. I find it amazing

@phipiohsum475​ ahem..... you have forgotten something: we Mystradians are very nice and welcoming people :) so fair enough if you don't want to ship, but come and enjoy with us here and there :)

Oh yes, the Mystradians I know are lovely, wonderful people. My sadness about not shipping Mystrade comes from the fact that it is, by far, the most popular Mycroft ship, and so I have much less reading material about my favorite Sherlock character than I might otherwise! 

I mean, I ship (and write) Holmescest and Johncroft (and co-mod @mycroftandjohn ) but if you look on AO3, there are a total of 1083 and 701 fics respectively, as compared to the 6904 of Mystrade. 

Alas, you can’t often help what you do and do not ship...
