It really fucking sucks that the thing that finally gets an artist of Slayr's caliber brought up at all on this site is from him getting racist white vocaloid fans dehumanizing him for being a black person making rap music. Slayr is one of the most refreshing and talented artists not only in his scene but in wider music in general right now, with a real knack for album craft already just in his mixtapes, and he as well as his friends and fellow collaborators in the scene like Lucy Bedroque, ezcodylee, Egobreak, rachyl, Dani Kiyoko, and more have been doing so much to push what is, if you're paying close attention, Hip Hop's punk movement in the form of the Rage scene. This is the type of music that is going to be looked back on decades later as innovative forerunners in a diverse loud and energetic scene like the punk forefathers (and foremothers with the Dolls) as the start of one of music's most lasting cultures, and all these stupid fucking white racists can do is reinforce their whiteness as above blackness. This shit is fucking torture.
