[There had been little activity in the laundromat where Amelia sat on one of the washers waiting for her clothes to finish up. Maybe it was just her, but she felt completely out of place in the town and anywhere she ended up. And to make matters worse, she had only enough change to start the dryer without any left for dryer sheets. Her clothes were almost finished in the washing machine, but she didn't want to leave them unattended to run to her motel room to grab more change.
