Woo. I’ve wanted to make this for months now.

I’ve gotta come 100% clean though. The punchline is heavily borrowed from a certain strip from the argentinian (argentine? idk) comic “Mafalda”. I was reading through it and this one strip (translated by yours truly) struck me as something that I could see Eleanor do.

I’m sure at this point it looks like I’m just attention whoring but I swear I just find these characters fun to draaaaaaw! I didn’t even draw this with the intent of doing fanart, I just doodled it while being bored at uni and then used it to try out SAI.

And if I’m gonna draw them either way what am I supposed to do, not post them at all? Nuh-uh, I dun think so.

I did it! I made it to the end of Somnamulizer by EHCB! (screenshot cropped to avoid spoilers!)

Man, things sure took a drastic turn towards the end... Which is pretty fitting considering the greek mythology inspiration, and it didn’t feel arbitrary or out of the blue because of the way the relationships between the characters were set up. If anything it makes you look at them from a different perspective, which took me off guard in a good way.

I had a lot of fun playing it, I loved all the animations and little details (how was this made in less then a month?!), some of the jokes honestly made me laugh irl and the ending made me think! Which is the most I can say without actually spoiling it.

j’adore Eleanor(e)

It didn’t feel right to exclude Eleanor from the fanart so I tried my hand at drawing her. It turns out she’s actually pretty fun to draw, except for when I completely gave up on drawing her hair stripes after trying four times to make them look decent. I like her toothpaste-on-banana color scheme.

(btw If the one on the left feels out of character just pretend she’s daydreaming about one of her romance novels, k bye)

I’ve been meaning to do this for so long, it took me over a month of getting back into the art groove and getting over my the initial self consciousness about doing fanart (still feel like I could have done a better job but I guess there’s always next time!), but it feels so good to finally get this off my chest!

Oh and one more little thing is on the way...
