I haven’t been here in ages, but this blog is over seven years old, and I was going through the pages of this blog recently and reminiscing in the nostalgia of it all. Maybe I’ll do an EHMMBH rewatch in the near future.

hi guys,

i’ve decided to take on a little experiment and i’m hoping some of you could help me out. we all know about tellywood’s weird “bad boy” fetish, but there’s a notion out there that the reason there are so many bad, abusive men on TV is because the viewers love them. apparently they choose them over the good guys. but if that’s the case, how is Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai still at the top? why did people love Suraj from Diya aur Bati Hum? and what about Viren from Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai?

this is where my experiment comes in. it’s pretty simple, really. i’m hoping to make a list of all the male leads in recent history, dividing them into good and bad, to see if the bad ones really do outnumber the good ones. now for obvious reasons (i.e. maintaining my sanity) i haven’t seen all the shows tellywood has ever produced, so i need help from you guys to gather these names. i’ve set up a few rules:

Main characters only. (e.g. Shivaay, or DBO Om. no Rudra or IB Om)

The duration of the TV show has to be minimum 6 mths. (to measure viewer acceptance. i’m considering anything <6 mths an unsuccessful show)

If male lead is introduced post-leap, he has to be on screen for minimum 6 mths.

“Bad” - rude and disrespectful behavior towards their SO is a character flaw, not a response caused by circumstance.

do these seem fair? are there any more rules you think I should add? send me ideas for improvement!

I’ll post the list i have soon (maybe tomorrow?), and will keep updating it based on how often more information is collected.

It’s sort of ironic that now when I have all the episodes of EHMMBH, this blog is largely inactive, but when it was active, I didn’t have all the episodes to gif. At the same time, it’s nice to just be able to go back and rewatch favourite episodes whenever I want.

hi does anyone know if there is a place i can access or a way to download hindi serials/bollywood movies in high quality(720p/1080p) with no logos in america?? i want to make sm gifsets but everything on youtube has logos and i just find it more convenient to download the whole thing pls let me know if you have a way thank you love you byeeee
