My boss told me to “keep up the good work” which is great. But also, I feel like the reason i’m putting in the work is to avoid the consequences of making a mistake as opposed to seeking praise. Like i’ll use up all my braincells to double-check something, partially bc I want to do a good job but at the end of the day, I just want to avoid fucking something up lol
