One of my favorite things about living in the Philadelphia area is the overwhelming amount of historical buildings and home. Daniel and I lived in the Mount Airy neighborhood of Philly for our first 2.5 years of marriage and the residential architecture really formed us in a profound appreciation for the beauty of our area. Yesterday we went to the Manayunk neighborhood and celebrated a special day for our little Jack (see my Stories for deets!). I was struck by the beauty of this little apartment cove on Main Street. The old stone, the black around the windows, the bridge overhead. Happy Sunday, everyone! I’m taking a much needed break today after a busy, busy week and a wonderful event this weekend at @phillywaldorf. But only a quick break because @ernieandirene will be at @cricketcringle in Ardmore, PA the weekend of Dec 1 & 2 with even more pieces than ever (ornaments and necklaces perhaps? 😉😉). One of my favorite things to do in @scadfibers was weave on the floor loom. My weaving class was one of my most influential classes during my time there and even though I can’t have a floor loom of my own #smallhouseproblems, I have a huge respect for handweavers. I recently came across @twill_hill’s work and lemme tell ya, it’s great. Her scarves are beautifully designed with perfectly matched colors and textures. Her studio space here is the ultimate #EIbeautifulspaces.

@kisforkara was one of my most inspirational classmates in @scadfibers. She is such a gifted artist and mother to a sweet little boy and is one AMAZING collector of vintage items. She gathers the most beautiful and fun objects for her home and styles them so expertly that none of her spaces look overcrowded or knick knacky. 👌🏻👌🏻 A perfect #EIbeautifulspaces How is your Monday shaping up? Oh you guys. Today I get to feature my amazing friend @lilliangraceraydokken'S stunning home for today's #EIbeautifulspaces. Lillian is the masterful designer and jeweler extraordinaire behind @lillidokken, a new jewelry line that is 👌🏻👌🏻 amazing. Lillian has an amazing eye for vintage finds and seamlessly integrates them into her home and her jewelry line. Everything she touches becomes beautiful! Lillian and her husband Sloan sadly moved away from us in the Philly area about 3 years ago, but they got to move into this gem of a home in Nashville. We were so sad for them to live so far away, but boy have they made a beautiful home there. Just look. at. those. couches. @ericatighe creates some of the most beautiful calligraphy and truly stunning designs with her company @beaheartdesign. She is by far one of my favorite feeds and I am so inspired by her and her work. Her backyard dinner tablescape is today's #EIbeautifulspaces and is 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻. Y'all. Yesterday I got to take a NAP. It was heaven and it was amazing.
