Sorry this took me forever because I wanted to finally elaborate on the "eight knives on his back" as it gets confusing lol anyways Eiden Weapon Speedrun Go!

for that ask prompt: "think you can hack your way through that?" with Eiden?

From this ask prompt

“Alright, now tech, think you can hack your way through that?”

Eiden hums, then blinks, and says: “No.”

“No,” Eiden repeats, perfectly calm, perfectly sincere, “I don’t think I can hack through this.”

Everyone is still frozen at the spot. From across the room, Deacon asks very slowly: “Eiden, are you saying that just to be difficult?”

Eiden frowns. “Is there anything I should be difficult about?”

Four people answered “no” before he finished.

“Thanks, guys,” he smiles, with eyes crinkling and all that, again perfectly genuine. Drummer Boy gets the distinct feeling that he’s laughing at them.

“No, I can’t promise I can hack through this thing in time, remotely, which is a two-minute window at most if you want Drummer to get in and make it out, with a device we’re not sure how big or how heavy, safely. And that’s assuming there’s nothing more than simple locks in between that and the exit.”

“Oh, so you are being difficult about this,” Deacon comments. Eiden stares at him, and the older man simply raises one eyebrow and returns the stare. Maybe. It’s hard to tell with both of them with glasses.

Eiden deflates. “Fine. Pull him out, put me in the field,” he jams a thumb towards Drummer’s general direction, then amends when the man starts to protest, “have him take the thing after I make the exit, take the original detour to drop it in the mailbox. Then I’ll go back and get myself thrown out. Nicely. Nicely. I can pick every single lock that ever exists in that building and you know it.” 

Then he turns to Drummer Boy and murmurs: “Sorry Drums,” while resolutely refusing to meet said man’s eyes. 

“Um,” he replies, and belatedly notices Eiden has successfully transferred the whole room’s attention to him. Sneaky bastard. “He can pose as the tech advisor or whatever rich people have.”

“Alright,” says Dez.

Aaaaaaaaaand here we go! Finally finished this mini comic, staring Eiden and @vnknowncrow ‘s OC Jawbone. I kind of gave up on background and this is needless extra but I can’t stare at it any longer
