Yeah this part is really cool and you don't really expect it. Like Kaguya is the final boss of IN, SURELY she's the one who this is all about but... No. Kaguya is exiled. The Lunarians don't care, she's out of the picture. Reisen on the other hand is not only a deserting war veteran, but is so important to the top dogs that they take ANOTHER BNUUY and NAME THEM REISEN because theoretically they miss her.

Kaguya and Eirin don't set up the fake moon to protect themselves. They set it up because the little soggy bnuuy who came to them a while back because they didn't like war got a draft letter and they want to protect her.

I love Eientei. I love all the family-dynamic factions in the series but Eientei is especially good because the lore on the characters is really fleshed out.

A mysterious manor built deep in the bamboo forest, as if to hide it.

The building is built like an ancient Japanese manor, but it shows no signs of wear.

It is as if it is constantly being maintained, or as if time has stopped (*33).

As it's deep within the bamboo forest, you likely won't be able to find it even if you want to visit.

Only recently have there been people willing to guide others to the manor.

Before then, nobody knew that there was a mansion in the middle of the forest.

As a result, the mansion is shrouded in mystery.

There is very little publicly-known information about the place. Even basic things like when it was built and the inhabitants themselves are unknown.

In particular, the humans and youkai rabbits who live there seem to have no relations with the human village.

However, recently, by holding events such as the Lunar Capital Exhibition (*34), it seems this manor may be opening up little by little.

*33: Since it's called the House of Eternity, perhaps the latter makes more sense.

*34: However, few made it to Eientei.

Eientei (end of corridor that leads to the real moon) - Shoot the Bullet.

I’m not sure how to name this location, but it’s the same from Imperishable Night. In Touhou 8 you could reach this place at the end of a corridor from Eientei. It seems that the wiki doesn’t mention it at stage locations in Shoot the Bullet (last checked on 10-Jan-2021).

Please don't abandon rabbits you don't want or can't take care of. Instead, you can always surrender them to either a shelter or Eientei, where Princess Kaguya and Tewi live, rather than leaving them to die in the middle of nowhere.

It breaks my heart to see people neglecting and abusing rabbits like this.
