Estevao: Ryder, particularly known for her family history of defeating dark wizards and witches. Looks like we have competition. I was pretty surprised when i learnt she was from Hufflepuff, as you know of my strong disgust towards them. An expert duelist too, perhaps i could challenge her to a duel and observe her moves. She's very unique, different from the other students I've seen, definitely meets Father's expectations. I will spare some time to continue my observation on her.

Finally did a drawing of Hufflepuff Queen Eileen Lavana Ryder. A wonderful lady that belongs to fascinating @scarlettroubles . 👑👑👑

She's one of my favourite MC so it would be a crime not to do something of her

Thank you to the amazing @scarlettroubles for doing this commission for me. If you haven't already done so, go do the same because she'll give you pieces just as stunning as this one.

Context: This takes place in year 7 just after Hufflepuff's victory in the Quidditch cup for that year. In David's case this solidified him receiving offers from the Wimborne Wasps, Liverpool Lions and even the Wigtown Wanderers to become their next beater

At first these two frequently butted heads in large part thanks to David's anger issues and rashness. However, year 3 marked a time when David begins trying to bury the hatchet with people he's had issues with, one of which is Eileen.

When she joins the Hufflepuff team in year 3 is a good a time as any to do so. At least agreeing that they can work towards the same goal of winning the cup. He even briefly convinces her You'll Never Walk Alone is the official Hufflepuff anthem, something which she'll never let him live down.

Regardless of their past conflict, they wind up graduating from Hogwarts on good terms.

I love ur mc Alex and all ur stupidly cute content. Like, it is unfair how funny and endearing ur art is. And I've been wanting to ask this for the longest time but I was honestly sorta intimidated even tho ur like, the least intimidating person ever. My brain is just small and dumb but I wanted to ask if my mc Eileen Ryder and ur mc Alex could be friends? 👉👈

(this is just me realized that i have never drawn eileen before please forgive me)

process below the cut

sketching: tbh i rarely sketch as clean as this one. most of the time it looks like a god damn mess. also i feel like using straight lines to sketch feel more cool lmao

line art: for some reasons i can't line in black. it always comes off weird somehow (i color the line to black later anw)

color: i have no idea how color theory works i just slam in some random colors and hope that god will guide me

shading: did i say i hate shading? because i fucking do. also light source isn't real :( also add some details i forget during color process

finalization: add glowing stuff and color the line art along the way

FINAL STEP: overlay a layer with perlin noise for the extra texture

and we are done ;)
