Bicycle Boom: Kelvingrove to Riverside
As part of The Arches' Behaviour festival, I took part in a bicycle tour through Kelvingrove Park, Glasgow, created and performed by Eilidh MacAskill of Fish & Game.
Starting at Kelvingrove Museum, Bicycle Book celebrated the bicycle as a mechanical agent of change and a symbol of universal freedom.
From there, we went on to cycle around Kelvingrove Park, guided by our late 19th century lady cyclist...
Perusing a few local landmarks on the way...
Fittingly, the the end point of the tour was the new Riverside Museum of Transport built by Zaha Hadid.
In the absence of my Pashley, I borrowed Catriona's beautiful Puch bicycle, which she needs to learn to ride!
