The day in the city had started much like any other. Reveria had arrived at the tea shop to find Eilithe and Velerodra chatting about Kurel’s recently stolen knife. Talk of such continued for a a time, with the realization that the knife was likely more important to Kurel than even Eilithe, occurring to Reveria.
It wasn’t all that much later before the boy, Mylorin came wandering up, talking about a drug dealer in the Pig or some place nearby. Of course, that set Eilithe on alert, setting her to light out after the man and Fai’nor. At the combined request of the boy’s father and Eilithe, Reveria sought to move Mylorin away from any scenes that might happen but as soon as she touch him, the boy began to get angry. What Reveria knew of the boy, was that he was a little shit, one that had no respect and had nearly injured her steward previously. So she grabbed him, which only made him angrier and more stubborn, yelling out to passersby that she wasn’t his mother and for her to let go. Something in her snapped and she did the exact opposite of what had been asked.
Taking the boy to the site of the drug dealer being arrested, Reveria let go of Mylo, intending to deliver him to people that she felt should deal with him, not herself. Her reward was a verbal assault from the boy, being called horrible things that made her want to lacerate his face with her claws. She held true to her code though, staring the boy down without a word or any action before walking away back to the teahouse. Fai’nor took the boy off for discipline, of which Reveria hoped it was a beating of some sort that she felt would be the only way to teach the teen.
Seething internally, Reveria hardly noticed anyone else around the stoop of the shop as she lit a joint and sought to relax herself. no such chance came, as a worgen that stunk of pestlilence tried to enter the locked teahouse. It wasn’t the first time this worgen had been at odds with those of the harbor. Not even a month ago, he’d spit literal death at Nethelu and Eilithe. He’d been arrested then but obviously had been released. Luckily, as Eilithe and Reveria repeatedly asked him to leave, the guard showed up and got the man to move along.
The relaxing effects of her joint obliterated, the druid decided to pace the city, walking off the anger and irritation she felt. A full circle of all the quarters was made, before she happened upon Eilithe talking to Mylorin. She paused, lingering behind a tree to listen before some half dressed draenei gave her away. “Really? Go away.” Eilithe’s voice over the seal only served to make her more irritable, leading her to stalk off without hardly acknowledging the woman.
Already irritated, the last she expected or wanted to see was the sight that came next. Rounding the corner to the teahouse, the same worgen from earlier pulled his cock out and began to piss on the wall across from the teahouse. Azura was sitting on the stoop and shielding E’sae’s eyes, the young girl seemingly horrified by what she was seeing. Reveria flew into a rage, drawing her holdout pistol from her boot and stalking up to the man, hammer cocked, barrel aimed at him. Screaming about his perversion and indecency drew the attention of a passerby and Eilithe, both soon at her side.
The man failed to see the issue and that only set Reveria further into a rage just as Eilithe pulled the trigger of her own gun. The bullet tore through the man’s right leg, the report of Reveria’s gun soon following as she shot the man in the opposite leg. He fell to his knees, wailing in stupid confusion about why they were shooting him. Eilithe moved back to the porch as Reveria screamed at the man. “YOU EXPOSED YOURSELF TO A CHILD YOU FUCKING PERVERT!” Another boom rang out as the druid pulled the trigger again, sending another bullet into the man, this time through his hand and into his chest.
Eilithe went for the guards and Reveria stood over the man, cold as stone, watching him bleed to death. As the last of his life blood flowed from him, she spit on him, her disgust never higher than in that moment. “Fucking pervert.” A crowd gathered soon enough, curious from the gunshots and shouting for the guards. Reveria never moved, eyes locked to the now dead worgen, as if to make sure he didn’t stand up. Somewhere in the mess of it, Reveria heard Azura’s voice in her ear and her mind, though in that moment she was far too gone to hardly even acknowledge it, even though she appreciated the words greatly.
The guards arrived soon enough, trying to gain control of the situation. One even used time magic to try and reverse the wounds on the man. Alas, as was becoming more and more standard for the guard, they were incredibly slow to respond, leaving him beyond their help. Reveria watched with satisfaction as the man died his second death of the night, wishing for a hundred more in this life and the next for him.
Of course, the guards questioned everyone to see what had happened. The story was lacking in detail, only the fact Eilithe shot first being mentioned. The guards were satisfied enough, ruling it self defense in light of previous assaults and the fact that the man exposed himself before a child. The group thanked the guards and returned to the teahouse, where Reveria got bleach and a mop to clean the street, still stone cold in her demeanor. Eilithe voice came over her seal, like a whisper from afar, voice flat. “Did we just get away with murder?”
Reveria’s response was in that indifferent tone of someone that hardly seemed to care that she had just killed a man.
