I hope you have been faring well. Things have been rather busy here at Caer Dallben. I do wish to be spending all this time going on endless adventures with you. We will have much more adventures in the future, won't we? I'm certainly looking forward to them, as well as looking forward to seeing you again.

Although I tend to constantly tease you from time to time, I hope you know that I truly care for you. It's not something I tell you very often and I thought perhaps I should let you know every now and then. I do admit it could be rather difficult to express my feelings towards you I wish

Sometimes I enjoy thinking back to when we first encountered in the dungeon. Such a foolish little boy I was. I don't think I will ever forget that. I have learned much from that as well. Now I know I still have much to learn, but there's no need to worry. I am trying my best and I will continue to do my best at everything.

Taran stared up at the wooden ceiling as he sniffled countless times. He had been recovering from a fever he caught the day before and spent the majority of his time in his refined bed. Of course, it was still rather small but it was much more comfortable than his old mat. Nevertheless, he did feel slightly better that day, but he still felt rather groggy.

It wasn't until moments later that he began to feel bad about not getting to his everyday duties, even though Dallben excused him from it. He always wished to be excused from time to time, but feeling ill was something he didn't have in mind when it came to that.

To make matters worse, Taran heard Dallben say something about Eilonwy visiting, most likely for her lessons with the enchanter or something of that sort, he wasn't quite sure. Not that he didn't wish to see her; the sound of that made Taran feel somewhat better, but he wasn't really sure he wanted Eilonwy to see him in such a sick state. At the thought of that, he grumbled quietly and hid behind his blanket.

Flynn smiled thoughtfully. "Good question. While there are a lot that spring to mind, Eilonwy, Nethraunien, Alice... There's one that stands out."

Character I’m auditioning for: Lucy Penensie from The Chronicles of Narnia

Role playing experience: I’ve been an on and off role player since mid 2012, and I currently run the Eilonwy blog in this group.

Time Zone: Pacific Standard Time

Para Sample: Lucy loved a great many things, but above all, she loved the sun. She loved the way it’s light kissed her face until the skin turned caramel, and how it warmed the sand beneath her feet when she was on the shore. She love how it always found a way to melt the long, dreary winter, no matter how long it froze the earth. And even in the winter, despite the snow flurries and the heavy rain and the thick clouds, she knew it was still shining. Sometimes she could even see its light glimmering off of the glistening icicles.

The thing Lucy liked best about it was that it never changed. She always knew that if she looked at the right spot, it would be there, a heavenly beacon burning in the sky. Even at night, when the moon chased the sun away, and darkness reigned over the land, she was happy, because somewhere on Earth, or even in Narnia, it wa shining, making someone’s day a little brighter.

She even loved it’s reflection, and would often spend lengthy periods of time gazing over its bright image in the water’s surface. If she looked close enough, she swore she could see Aslan’s mane, rippling through the heavenly figure’s resident light. It was those times when it seemed the most beautiful.

Lucy knew that the Sun wasn’t forever. She’d read that all stars eventually die, just like people, and the Sun was no exception. It’s lifespan was billions upon billions of years, but one day, its tender light would be gone for good.

The thought made her a little sad, but not as upset as one would have imagined, because the little girl knew something that most people never learn. That all things died, but death was never in vain. That things can always be remembered by at least one person, and as long as that person remembers, the thing in question would never really disappear.

And this, little Lucy Pevensie, a young girl with is a wise mind, discovered the truth to immortality, the truth to eternity, all through the magic and love that her bright sun exuded.
