He had been waiting up for a few hours now for Hilly. His brother had went off somewhere. Nate didn’t pry since it wasn’t his business. Given how stressed Hilbert had been lately taking care of both of them, Nate figured he could have a few hours by himself to do whatever it was his brother did. He was dozing off in his bed staring at the pages of a comic he had been engrossed in for a while. Though he paused in his reading when he heard the front door open. His eyes lit up and he went to greet his brother at the top of the stairs. “Hey Hilly. Welcome home.” He brown eyes scanned the other’s being mainly trying to notice anything physically odd about him. He may have been with his fuck buddies but ultimately he wanted to make sure Hilly was okay.
