There were only so many things in the world that one could expect nine year olds to be suited for dealing with. Ninja training started young, so in Wutai, that happened to be one of them. The duties of a young princess started even younger, though this particular nine year old had absolutely refused following in those steps and would often kick and scream at the first sight of being dragged off to tea ceremony; this was acceptable, she had chosen her path. Having one's motherland overthrown in war and reduced to a puppet state of an Electric Power Company was unfortunately, not one of the things she was dealing well with at her age.
Neither was the expectation her father had set forward for her to not cause trouble while their town was occupied with negotiations over having a Mako reactor set up on the mountain hosting the god Leviathan looming over the city. There were still ShinRa soldiers...and SOLDIERs on nearly every street corner, and it was getting to be a bit much for Yuffie Kisaragi.
Which was why she was currently perched on the roof of one of the buildings near the entrance to the path leading to her father's home, hidden in the shadows of the fading afternoon sunlight, a large rock in hand and eyes trained on one of the processions of soldiers making their rounds through the city. One in particular caught her eye, of course--it was hard to miss him with the length of silver hair flowing longer than she'd seen on any person before. Eyes narrowing, she leaned back against the slat of the straw-hay roof, pulled her arm back, and hurled it as hard as her tiny arms could throw.
Hardly the work of a successful revolt or underground rebellion. But the princess of Wutai had just thrown a sizable rock at General Sephiroth.
