Now of course Einstein was happy you got along with her colleagues. I mean, her colleagues were also your colleagues so you kinda had to get along with them to get through the day.There were many "group projects" that were within Anti-Entropy. No need to be outright friends but at least tolerating each other would be the bare minimum.
Yet there was a bubbling feeling in Einstein's chest that made her feel… strange. If this was the burning feeling of jealousy then why did it have to feel like this?
And why was she feeling it. You were just talking with Tesla! It's like Einstein was bothered by you ever talking to Tesla, or anyone for that matter. Maybe she was on edge, maybe it was a bad day (not really), or maybe she'd never know the reason.
The blue-haired scientist stood up from her seat and walked to where you and Tesla were talking. She stood next to you, not actually listening to the conversation at hand. All she knew is that it's been going on for a long time.
You smiled at her when she took your hand in hers. Einstein wasn't favorable to PDA much and this one, if not the only, time where it was an exception.
"Eh? Mophead you look different today. Angrier? Or did you do something with your hair?" The other scientist put tapped a finger against her chin absentmindedly before her mind came to the conclusion.
"Ah- I see! Well then, since we sorted everything out now, I'll take my leave," Tesla winked before walking to the door, picking up a stack of papers on the table by it.
"Thank the gods… I didn't want to restart on that entire project."
"Which project?"
"Oh just a small one that took too long to finish. Turns out one of my group members lost his part of it," you sighed with a defeated look, "I have better things to do then restart something so minimal but Tesla insisted she help pick up the small bit of slack."
Oh that-
"I see," Einstein nodded.
"Ya know Lieserl… Tesla's right. You are acting a little weird."
Heat crawled up Einstein's neck as she averted her eyes. It was very rare to see Einstein ever look bashful and you thought it was cute.
You giggled and squeezed her hand, "it was just a small conversation, did you get jealous."
"Perhaps I did," Einstein sighed, "I apologize. It feels unbecoming of me to feel such strange emotions over a small interaction."
"It's alright Lieserl. People get jealous sometimes, not like it's somethin' special. Besides, I'll love you forever."
You kissed Einstein's forehead and she swore her face was even more red at this point.
"Ahem- yes. I… love you too," her voice got a little quieter at the last part. Afraid that the people across the entire hall could hear her saying I love you.
"Well, we should get back to work, hm?"
Einstein nodded. You walked to each other's separate desks and sat down to work.

with the appearance of winter, snow came along with it. and in your breaks with eins, you'd find yourself cuddling with her for a lot of that time. something about the snow just made you want to snuggle against her for the whole day and ignore the incoming work from anti-entropy. of course, that wasn't an option. ever.
but at the end of the day, you'd be able to sneak in some good amount of cuddles. with all your work being pushes to the next day, and eins in your arms, you'd be able to rest well.
but some days, you could drag eins off of work a tad bit earlier. those days were always your favorite.
"welt gave us time off! so we should be able to spend it well together," you smiled with eins successfully wrapped in your arms.

to make things easier for myself, lets just say say this is a modern au without honkai so i don't have to factor them into this. einstein works as a scientist for anti-entropy still but it's a company thats goal is to improve the overall world (like climate change) along with tesla and welt!
you got married to einstein a while after she started working at anti-entropy, as you also work there and also knew each other a bit prior. einstein didn't know you that well but she knew you also frequented the coffee shop she went to before heading off to work. after a few coffee dates, a few years of dating, you two ended up marrying each other and sharing the same place.
it was a tad strange for the both of you beginning. not immediately going to sharing the same bed, but it was still different to wake up to someone with you every single day. but overtime you two were able to make it work out and now do indeed share a bed with each other.
einstein doesn't do a lot of hugging or cuddling but in the morning or when she's asleep, she can and will cuddle you. it's a moment of weakness for her to not be the smart scientist she is in front of everyone, so you get see the more cuddle-y side of her. it's really nice and you can't help but to cherish every moment she cuddles against you in the morning.
if you happen to wake up before einstein, she'll make some special coffee for you if you drink it. it's something she developed in the first few months of working at anti-entropy and is pretty strong. it doesn't really taste like anything and has a weird texture and look to it but it at least keeps you awake throughout the day. you can try to ask einstein what she puts in it, but she doesn't have much of an answer. all she remembers is throwing in some random things into her coffee and boom! she stayed awake for 2 whole nights.
please remind your wife that coffee is not water and she has to drink some water. she gets carried away with work sometimes even at home so it's important to remind her to relax! she might be a bit stubborn but you still win her over as she lays down in bed with you and falls asleep fairly quickly.

you, tesla, and einstein were currently working on a big project. usually the three of you could work on your own, but this time it was urgent. something welt had sent the three of you to do together, an experiment he didn't explain much but did give the bare details for it. silence stretched through the room as the sound of tinkering and bottle filled with liquid glimmered in the background.
tesla looked up to you and einstein, watching as the mop head looked at you for a quick moment that returned with a nod from you. you walked to another stretch of counters and grabbed a vile, handing it to eins once you got back. the red head scientist huffed in response at you two. she swore you two never spoke around her. instead of giving quick looks to each other and giving the other exactly what they needed! how did you do it?!
she swore einstein was hiding something from her. maybe there were side experiments you two ran on your own? maybe it let the both of you communicate to each other with just glances. like telepathy or some sort of thing! she had to know! she was losing her mind from the questions!
the volcano filled with hot lava erupted as eins got you something you needed for another part of the job. she swore you didn't even ask!

she continued to ask questions about, raging to einstein about how you do it, or why you never included her with it either.
in the end, you and einstein were still confused. tesla had left the room to continue with one of her own private works. muttering about having to pay off her own debts and such.

honestly, i can't say what einstein's love language would be. as tesla has pointed out, she has a more research-scientist way of talking that can come off as harsh at times. with you she learns to relax more, focusing less on her work at all times and spending more time with you.
in that sense i guess her love language would be quality time then??
being a scientist, especially in honkai, is stressful as hell. so when einstein can finally spend time with you she can go all out with it. she likes laying in your lap while watching a movie and slowly dozing off. it's just so comfy to be close to you. though, one time tesla did accidentally walk into the room while einstein was napping in your lap. she walked right out.
einstein likes holding your hand too! her hands are warm and feel ruff from all the work she does but they're so nice to hold. her hands are kind of small though so there's a chance yours are bigger in comparison to hers. but now matter how, both of your hands fit together perfectly. if you ever ask einstein why she likes holding your hand so much, that's her go to answer. she just likes your hands in general!
as expected, it's unlikely that einstein has ever kissed or dated someone before you. so she's a bit new to everything and especially new to showing a lot more affection to someone. it might take some time for her to get used to it, but baby steps are important! just to get her comfortable over time with giving and receiving affection.
over time einstein gets used to showing more affection with you. when time is off, she will go right to you to relax with. either by cuddling, talking, or just enjoying each other's presence. you're her main stress reliever! she loves you!!

day 1 of halloween night - carving pumpkins feat. einstein (honkai impact)

"... so you made this robot yourself? just for this?" you asked.
einstein nodded in response as they watched their creation work. the little robot, with a very cute face mimicking a jack-o'-lantern, continued to scoop out the seeds on the pumpkin. well, it was convenient at least. your least favorite part of carving pumpkins was scooping out all the 'guts' as it was a tedious process to you.
the robot stopped scooping everything out and hovered by einstein, who was watching you. "do you need any help with that?"
if you turned to face them, there would be a smirk playing on the genius' lips.
"i'm doing perfectly fine, thank you. do you have any ideas to carve?" you dramatically scooped the lost of the pumpkins 'guts' out and slapped them into the bag next to you.
"i might go a bit simple for this, a nice pumpkin wouldn't hurt. are you planning anything?"
"something simple as well, maybe even one that looks sad in comparison to your happy one," you stuck your tongue at einstein as they shook their head.
einstein used her pumpkin robot to help once again, carving through the pumpkin quickly to give it a smiley face. the end result was a good looking pumpkin. there were little details of hearts by the pumpkin as well. your pumpkin had a sad face on him, even taking the care to carve out some tears that would stand out.
"shall we set these up then?" einstein asked.
"of course! don't forget the candles either. gotta light them up for when it's finally halloween night."
you and the pumpkin bot took the pumpkins outside while einstein got the candles. they were set on the window, facing out into the dark night as you waited. the candles were brought out and set into the pumpkins to be turned on in the following nights.
"just a few more days! then it'll be the best holiday of the season!"
"of course," einstein looked at you with a smile, "and we can spend it together."
