I keep feeling like Darth Jadus died a bit too quickly. Like...he was...an interesting character.
Didn’t the Eagle say his patron was someone high up in Imperial ranks? Maybe it’s Zhorrid? But she wouldn’t really have a reason to push II to find out about Jadus’s death, for fear she’d be discovered, right?
What is Zhorrid is actually Jadus in disguise? We’ve seen how easily the Ghost Cell people were able to cloak themselves. They have basically the same mannerisms, and that way Jadus would get to keep his position on the Dark Council while working on whatever else he wants to do without being under suspicion.
Which reminds me, Keeper brought up the point of the “patron” not being actually a high-ranking Imperial because they’d be unable to escape scrutiny. But...isn’t being dead a pretty good cover? Like, I guess Jadus could pretend to have died and no one would pay him much attention for the next few months because he’s, well, “dead”. That doesn’t explain how he escape without dying. I mean, I’m assuming Jadus isn’t actually dead. But wouldn’t Zhorrid know? Or maybe she’s not in on it.
...In that case, shouldn’t Jadus’s prime target be his own daughter? Because she might reveal him...
Maybe the Eagle used to be part of the Ghost Cell? Like, there must have been quite some time between his pilot-y-ness and the storyline. And he and the Ghost Cell both really hate the Empire. What if Zhorrid’s actually the Eagle?

Not entirely sure how i feel about Vector yet. I do know how Eirit feels about him, though, and it’s close to complete apathy (so far).
Oh man, I don’t think the Empire’s gonna appreciate me tearing through the Cortess compound. ....Ah well.
