In Russia, the Bolsheviks, led by Lenin, start an armed uprising, striking a deadly blow to the Provisional Government. Kerensky, after a failed attempt of gathering loyal troops, flees Petrograd. The capital is controlled by the revolutionaries who gather near the Winter Palace, seat of the government. The events leading to Bolsheviks rise to power will be depicted, ten years later by the Russian director Sergej Michajlovič Ėjzenštejn in his movie: October.
