1,, more of an au than something i consistently see, but heart and mind "resetting" with every loop while soul stays the exact same. he bears the scars, physical and mental, of each loop. heart and mind are doomed to repeat a cycle they're not even aware of, regaining senses only to lose them over and over again. but soul remembers it all. does he grow numb or does it hurt him more and more each time? does he reach a breaking point? how exhausted can he get before he inadvertently breaks the cycle? fhugryvufi4hbrojfo yay yay i love thinking
2, something i actually see in canon, but sometimes when they reach the point where light would be in the album, they come together and hold each other like it's the end of the world and for a moment they see, together, out of eyes that are unfamiliar yet undeniably theirs. in a bedroom they've never seen but have been in before. and then they split apart again and go on to get along for a month or two before falling back into the cycle of violence. it's also very warm!
3,,,..... no matter what happens their house always stays the same. same layout same furniture same everything. it's nice and familiar and somewhat comforting! usually!
