eiudothe is one of my favourite campaigns at the moment and our dm, bless ‘em, does “extra credit” tasks for a pool of inspiration dice between games

this time around, it was ‘modern au, what’s your character up to’ which pretty much just turned into ‘college au’

i figure qilue as a teacher would work. either biology or ecology, definitely puts a lot of emphasis on hands-on outdoors work, is the "cool" professor who dyes their hair and probably smokes weed on their offtime

belphi's too young for school yet, so she either stays in the college-provided daycare or sits and entertains herself during classes

today on dnd: 

qilue and new maybe-bae are taking their daughters for a day out on the city. it's too pure. belphi got a very lovely custom cake from the bakery!

qilue foxglove--so named by their sovereign and steward, queen titania of the summer court--was born to a drow matriarch and her human consort, but switched at birth with a changeling thanks to an ancient deal with the fey; thus, the feywild was all qilue ever truly knew.

drawn to the powers of the wild nature around them, they trained in the ways of the druid, joining the circle of dreams as like-minded druids had. they’ve served the court faithfully for as long as they can remember, often ranging between the mortal realm of eiudothe and their home across well-regulated portals and a truly dangerous forest.

as titania’s emissary, they share...a somewhat tumultuous view of king oberon’s part of the court. after a dreamy midsummer night, they found themself carrying puck’s child. at titania’s behest, the sire’s identity is a secret, and qilue has never taken belphi to court--but takes her everywhere else, ensuring her safety with an accompanying royal handmaiden if their missions are ever too dangerous.

their latest assignment takes them to a grand ball held by an empire seeking peace, and qilue has always relished the chance to show mortals up at their own game...

Love your DnD characters and seeing/hearing about their adventures here! It inspires me a lot, and I love how much the fey was upped on Qilue in their druid iteration!! Have a great evening!!

ngl i’m super excited for doing more with druid qilue, i love the idea of playing them with more of the whimsical fey aspect

i can’t wait to see where this campaign goes! qilue, of course, took the first opportunity they could to be as gay as possible

at the masquerade, one of the diplomats became a werewolf, hibiscus turned into a weretiger, and qilue wildshaped into a panther
