As much as Roderich hated to admit it, he had to recognize that he hadn’t exactly kept up with the Guild members now stationed in Port City. He’d heard of at least one, and yet, he’d managed to put off actually greeting them until now. So, thinking it was about time he got to work again (not to say that he hadn’t been working, no, his focus had just been on other matters), he mustered up the gumption to step out of his office and meet this new transfer.
He found them quite easily. Just because he hadn’t been talking to many Guild members didn’t mean he hadn’t been watching. It was all too easy to monitor activity on the ship as the Phantom, after all. Roderich already knew just who he was looking for, and approached them with an air of dignity and authority.
“Good day,” he began, hands clasped behind his back. “You are Adam, correct?”
