Today in 'tism city I try to apply actual comprehensible biology to the ekimmara and re-fluffy this mangy thing and I...uh, didn't exactly hit the mark. Or did, you be the judge. Here, have my thought process.
"Hmm, ekimaras with that white long fur-deffo some cold-weather bat, but how do those ginormous ears not freeze off? Well, I'll add a radar dish of fluff like a barn owl right behind them, that should keep them warm AND improve their hearing since I imagine hearing their prey and echolocation is how they navigate in the arctic night. Those long legs though…I mean, great for getting through deep snow and leaping, but how do they keep them warm? Probably tuck them into the fluff to warm them up periodically."
