Tell us about a formative experience you've had
In high school we had this arts program where at the end of the year we did this big multi-discipline show where everybody got to do something, and senior year before the show i was doing some last minute checks before curtain and this very hot theatre chick yelled at me for something and i was just like "hey. don't speak to me like that. im doing attendance. whatever you're mad about is not about me." and she paused and was like "yeah. sorry. you're right." and it was the first time i had stood up to somebody i had a crush on and it worked and it literally changed the way i let people talk to me for the entire rest of my life. (also then she invited me to her graduation party and it was just her family and me and in retrospect im like damn maybe i had a shot there i didnt know how to take lol.)
