I knew it was dumb. I knew it was foolish for me. I knew he loved someone else and that person would never be. His heart would always belong to the female lead, and that was the way it was meant to be. So when he started suddenly acting different a year after we got married... is there something wrong here? Why are you acting as if you are in love with me?

Main Story
This is a story about a transmigrator that got transported into a world of a novel they enjoyed and a regressor that regrets the way they treated someone they loved in the past. The novel is a typical story about a young unfortunate noble girl that somehow ends up falling in love with a prince and becomes queen in the end. But this story isn't about her. It's about what happens after with the second male lead who fell in love with the heroine but wasn't chosen.
Throughout the original story, Henry, the second male lead, was supported by his best friend, Adea. And after the story ended, Henry is left heartbroken and unable to move on. Henry and Adea decide to get married, but even a year after their marriage, Henry is still gloomy and neglecting his duties due to heartache, leaving Adea to take charge of everything.
However, after catching a dangerous case of pneumonia, Henry suddenly changes upon recovering. He decides to return to his duties and begins treating Adea much kinder and more respectfully. Through it all, Adea is confused at what caused all these changes.
Personal Notes
I admit writing these snippets were done out of me finding second male leads absolutely boring. They have no sense of agency or self-respect. They don't know how to move on. It's always implied that the heroine ruined them, that they will never find someone they will love more than her. I find it sad and pathetic.
While this story is seen through the eyes of Adea, it's actually a story about regret and trying (and failing) to make up for the mistakes in the past on the second male lead's part. Henry regresses from the world seen in Snippets 2 and 3 where he didn't realize how important Adea was to him and ruined her. This story is about him trying to make up for that in the best way he can.
Unfortunately, there's going to be a lot of miscommunication in here. It's not going to be a fun and easy read. I'm writing this primarily because I want to write angst. I want to write about devotion gone wrong (on Adea's part) and the inability to forgive oneself (Henry).
Look okay I was bored and wanted to write a story about a sis-con, a popular trope in Asian romance, falling in love with someone. That's all. Don't expect anything complex about this. It's just normal romance.
There's not much to say about this. These are the snippets I wrote to feel out Mila and Nolan. This is the planning feeling out stages that eventually evolved into I Am the Demon Queen's Doctor. But the reason I wanted to write it in the beginning because like.... In otome isekai, the duke is like... ALWAYS SO MEAN TO THE DOCTORS??? Like why are you threatening that poor doctor with death man, leave the doctor alone. ;w; So I wanted to write something like that.
I have more to say but I'm lazy, so I'll write it later.
Foolish enough to get captured by traffickers, Mila finds herself saved by none other than the Demon King's wife. And the price for such saving? To cure the queen from an illness that would no doubt take her life within two years. Should be simple, right? But if that is the case, why does it seem like the queen has much more she's not telling Mila? And what messes will Mila inevitably find herself in?

Personal Notes
This is one of those stories where the main character is not the one that was isekai'd, but another. In this story, the queen was isekai'd from the real world where she read a story about how the Demon King lost his wife due to illness and fell in love with a doctor that saved his life. The queen's goal is to set the og!fl, our protagonist Mila, up for success where she will eventually fall in love with the demon king. In true otome isekai fashion, however, the queen will inevitably underestimate the effect she has on the original story and will not realize it when her husband ends up falling for her.
But the story isn't about all that business. The story is about Mila. I have an obsession with side characters and I often find their story much more interesting than main characters. I wanted to write a story where someone has to put up with getting roped and dragged along in an adventure they never asked for.
The funny thing is this description and synopsis is perhaps one of the least ideas for a story ever, but this is the story I have the most motivation for lmao. I really do be writing a whole ass story for the one sole audience of me LOL
Side Story: Really, it was a shame we were betrothed. As the captain of the holy knights, a better woman suited him, one that was pious and submissive, not a manipulative gossipmonger like me. But ever the dutiful man he was, he would never call off our engagement. So if he wouldn't, I would in the only way I knew how.

Main Story
Cecilia, the main character is center of society. She's the jewel amongst young women. She wears the mask of a kind, yet a bit airheaded heir to a duchy. In reality, though, she sees high society as a game to manipulate as how she sees fit.
However, because she's this way, she believes she does not suit her fiance, Leopold. She's not in the image of a religious woman. It doesn't help that her fiance's mother constantly complains about how she does not act as a submissive woman. Even though Cecilia and Leopold have known each other since they were children and thus know each other very well, Cecilia does not believe their marriage will end well. She feels she needs to let Leo free.
Personal Notes
This series of snippets is meant to be a side story, aka a side couple in a larger story. I based the main character upon this belief that it's very easy to see through people if you allow yourself to be honest about your observations. Cecilia is such a person. She's observant, purposeful, decisive, and manipulative. She's not a bad person, mind you, she just likes being in control.
But in this series of snippets, I also wanted to write an unreliable narrator. Cecilia believes that she doesn't match Leo. She thinks that he doesn't like her. She assumes he does not approve of her activities. However, between the lines shows that they get along very well and know each other intimately. While Leo may argue, it's only because he's worried about her safety.
This story is very indulgent for me, I think. Making up drama and resolving it through two people unknowingly in love haha. I actually do plan on finishing this snippet series and there will be 4-5 snippets in all. <3
The moment I remembered was the moment it all ended. Everything I was, everything I had to live for, was all a lie. My only purpose in life was to be the darkness that allowed her light to shine even brighter. After all, isn't that the job of the titular villain in any novel? So I'm done. I refuse. If the life I wanted is not meant for me, then I will create one of my own.

Chapter 1
Main Story
This a story about a villainess that suddenly remembers her life the moment before the start of her very downfall. As the daughter of a duke and the center of noble society, she is a very proud woman. She believes that all the luxuries in life is meant for her. So when realizes that she is a character in a fairy tale novel meant to elevate the heroine, she's pissed off. She's feels betrayed, humiliated. Everything she did, every action she took, didn't matter. In the end, all would be given to her filthy half-sister.
So at that very moment before her downfall, she gives up. She walks away. She's done living the life set out by the whims of someone else.
Personal Notes
The reason why I wrote this story was because I was tired of the villainess' personality always getting rewritten by the previous life's personality. Their personality always does this complete 180. They never share any aspects to the current life. In this story, the only thing that happens to the villainess is that she remembers. However, she still maintains the beliefs and personality she had before. She still believes her sister to be a filthy half-blood. She still believes she deserves the role of crown princess. Even though she willingly chooses to abandon that life, she still truly does believe that she is the most deserving of it over everyone else.
Surprisingly, the place she ends up going is the very convent she's banished to in the original story. But this time, she's going there on her own terms.
There's a certain character arc I want for Lucia. At the very start of the story, she loses all sense of purpose other than screwing up the author's story. But from the people in the convent, taking care of the orphans there, I want her to find herself once more. I want her to genuinely find purpose there. But the biggest thing for me, what I want the most, is for her not to change. I mean, she will change, don't get me wrong. But I want her to walk out of this still a proud woman to be respected and feared.
