Realistically Optimistic
It is said, when it comes to love, there are two types of people. Well I beg to differ, there are three types of people.
The first ones are the Optimists. As their name implies, they are overly confident about finding someone. Thinking that love will come whenever they want. However, being optimistic leads to greater pain.
The second ones are Realists. These people know that love is exists, that love eventually finds everyone. Pain, is still concurrent here. Only lessened.
Lastly, there are Pessimists. They do not believe in love, believe it will never come. Some are afraid of it, of the pain that comes with love. They fear opening up and getting trifled with only after. They will rather save themselves the pain and be content with loneliness. This, however, brings unbearable pain.
It is better to love, than to not.
I am neither of the mentioned. I believe myself to be on another class. I’m realistically optimistic about love.
I accept the pain that comes along with it, because it’s worth it. There’s someone for everyone.
Fairy tales aren’t real, but you can make your reality resemble one.
