Because while we're staying here, no progress is being made whatsoever about the zombies. What I mean is that, as nice as this is, it's still a ticking time bomb. They will come eventually. They'll keep coming unless we stop them. And that's unlikely to happen here.
Let me rephrase that: Shouldn't we look into means of zombie mass-destruction at this point?
