It's been quite eventful, these last few days. The Salvatore brothers think they can outsmart him, think they can beat him. They're horribly naive, and if Stefan had any kind of sense about him, he would inform his nitwit brother that Klaus is unbeatable. Unkillable. But Stefan's inadequacy is partially Klaus's own fault -- not that anyone but him knows that. It's a burden Klaus will have to bear for some time to come. Until the time is right. In the meantime, Stefan and his incompetent brother have pissed off Klaus one too many times, and he's snatched Elena from them to prove a point. Likely, Stefan and Damon are scrambling to find her, but Klaus could not care less. He has no intentions to harm her. Not yet, at least. Not until it benefits him the most.
Regardless of his intent, he's somehow caused her to gain quite the cut across her arm, and she seems adamant on letting it fester if it means he doesn't touch her in the slightest. While he understands the disgust she has for him, he also can't help but think about the numerous interactions they've had recently, where she shows more than just solely disgust for him. He'd like to pull that out of her as much as possible.
❛❛ I can handle it just fine, thanks. ❜❜ She spits at him the moment he goes to further inspect the wound, and Klaus immediately steps back, hands up in defense of himself. He's still grinning, though.
"My apologies, love, it's just that should it get infected and you die -- you'll be of absolutely no use to me." He is now rummaging through one of the cabinets in the kitchen for some first aid items as he continues. "I'd heal you with my blood but, well...you know how Katerina ended up. I can't trust that you won't do the same." Some gauze, alcohol, and medical tape is what he brings her, dropping it onto the sofa next to her and standing in front of her with his arms crossed. "Here you are. I could help you, but you're just so horribly independent that it's sickening. Petrova fire, and whatnot."
