Street view in Nafplio, Peloponnese, Greece
In Irish mythology, Elatha was a king of the Fomorians. He is said to be a beautiful man with golden hair. He is associated with the sun and the moon.
Elatha came to Ireland in a silver ship and seduced the goddess Ériu, who bore him a son; Bres, the future king of the Tuatha Dé Danann. He also spawned several children from unnamed mothers, including the druid god Dagda.
