Dandelion "Hunter" Erventrout 2022 vs. 2024
My DnD OC! A friend of mine has her own and we made a world together (we really need to work on it again one of these days XD)
She helped me a lot with the design!
I used a model for the body because for some reason male bodies are one of my arch nemesis in drawing. Which is ironic seeing how I couldn't draw a woman body for shit in my younger years 😂
a little collab with @tramweye 🩷 he did the lines while i did the colours
also josie debut ig?! she's real but somehow the first time i drew her is a goofy tomato creature.....
Finally bought some alcohol markers. I’m addicted to them ugh.
Here’s me and @packcoventhing ‘s dnd characters Blackjack and Gravel from my Pirate themed campaign
Sivvus and Ears
I'm a big advocate for elves having very mobile ears that respond to their emotions. Perking up, drooping, one ear flicking/twitching when annoyed etc. So I headcanon that all elves can do this, and to some degree, half elves too.
People learning they can read an elf by de-coding ear movements just like you can read a tiefling by de-coding tail movements.
Sivvus is a Feywild-born Eladrin and was raised in a High Court of Fey, but because he's super restrained he trained himself to keep his ears at neutral position as much as possible. This contributes to people assuming he's really pompous, snooty, stuck up- because his ear position is always "neutral" and he gives very little away.
In Faerûn, where he finds himself absolutely nerfed by the tadpole and completely out of his element, away from everything he'd ever known, he tries desperately to keep his neutral veneer for as long as possible.
It then becomes very, very obvious whenever he slips. Think of it this way: a person who constantly emotes loudly? You don't really pay attention to their more subtle shifts. A person who tries to not emote at all? Any, ANY shift is like a giant air horn of attention.
So when his ears droop in disappointment or perk up in interest, against his will or without him noticing that he's emoting because he's so overwhelmed that he fails to keep track of his physical responses, his companions tend to find it incredibly noticeable (and maybe very endearing).
Sivvus thinking he's being Very Chill only to have Gale give him a sympathetic clap on the shoulder.
Sivvus thinking he's being Very Chill only to have Astarion chuckle at him and give him a sly look.
Sivvus thinking he's being Very Chill only to have Shadowheart suggest she take over so he can compose himself (scandalizing him immediately)
It's Nice to be Wanted but Uh, Not Like This
Another old art share! Pepper and her party have been wanted by the Empire for months, and while most of the crimes are technically true, I stand by the FACT the arson was completely out of our hands
We met Quartz’s mom, Jorie, and even saved her from a terrible decades long curse!!! Ever since I’ve been captivated by visions of her…
