Man the concept of Cynikka and Flux being the children of Elanuelo

Them coming to the Isles fleeing the fall of Aculon, only to be separated again thinking the other dead

Maybe Flux's hatred and paranoia of island 1/ Yggdrasil is fueled by seeing his homeland be destroyed by invaders, who declared no mercy on soldier and civilian alike, that there's no use showing mercy to the enemy when they won't do the same, the peace-loveing people of Island 2/ Pandora being too naive to understand what an invasion means, and that the only way to survive is to attack them first

(He, of course, was too young to understand why the war happened and the part his father's ruthlessness played in it)

Cynikka, devoting herself to the volcano as a shining light of warmth compared to the cold of her homeland, swearing to protect her second home after losing her first, and be better then her father, only for outsiders to come and take what isn't there's, only to betrayed by who she thought was her ally, only to end up just like her father, cornered and falling
