This is the RU by Nick White, an illustrator I met at ELCAF 2014. Nick's art is all really cool but also kinda creepy and funny too if ya get me.
So is his robot unicorn as you can see. It has a special moving, tentacle like horn, to pick stuff up, an y'know.. do cooking and other stuff.

ELCAF 2014
Here's the robot unicorn by Tom Gauld, who I met at ELCAF 2014 recently. Tom's been on the infamous RU artist hit list right from the start, so this unicorn has been long-awaited.
Tom draws loads of robots and he did the illustrations in a version of the book The Iron Man and a book called The Gigantic Robot, so I knew his robot unicorn would be super cool!

Saturday was the annual ELCAF pilgrimage, and the event seemed to have levelled up somewhat since last year. The comics were piled higher; the queues, and the beards, were longer.
I tried valiantly to overlook the overwhelming Chris Ware-ness of the event, as I was still ruing the fact that we’d forgotten to book tickets for his talk. I finished ‘Building Stories’ a couple of months ago and would have liked to have heard from the mastermind behind it (if only to try and get to the bottom of all the Brandon Bee stuff).
Nonetheless I somehow found the inner strength to spend lots of money on comics and sample the local IPA, and I left feeling a good 10% trendier than normal. The world is a more exciting place thanks to events like ELCAF.
Me and Donya have got our comics ready for ELCAF 2014. Hopefully we'll see you there!
I'm sending 'Teagle Comics #1' to print this week, ready for ELCAF 2014 and my guest appearance at Glasgow Comic Con as well as many more fairs and conventions this year!
The comic will feature new work including Catheadarmman!
