She phased in, body floating and eyes scanning the surrounding area that couldn't help but catch the ghost’s interest. All sorts of beakers...right? And flasks...she thought. And Lilly just couldn’t rid her nose of that strange smell that scented everything she hovered up to, fidgeting with all kinds of miscellaneous-worthy items she’d certainly never seen...before finding some books. Thin fingers popped one off a shelf before flipping it open, a quiet, “Ooh~” leaving lips as Lilly curled up in mid-air, colorless eyes then flicking back and forth, silently reading to herself.
Though the moments of silence hadn’t lasted long once the clearing of a throat, no doubt seeking attention, hit her ears loud and clear, letting out her own gasp and squeak of the voice while fingers fumbled. In the end, a falling book dropped to the ground. Sights shifted and scanned, locking onto the other, body choosing transparency while Lilly waved a meek hello, the words, “Sorry...” letting loose.
