Guard test

Hello, everyone.

I deeply apologize for this inconvenience, but after spending the last...idk 8 or so hrs and working on the guard test, there’s seem to be a glitch or an error when getting something other than obsidian. I am going to contact with the team and see what’s going on. The guard test is, hopefully, set on private. so if you cannot see it, it’s okay. When I know for sure this is solved I’m going to put it back up. 

Also, I know some have asked a couple of questions, I am working on finding those answers for you and when I do I’ll post something again.

Again, so sorry about this. Luckily I asked for the next two days off so this is what I’m going to be working on.

An update on the guard test, I updated the answers to the Shadow Guard and tested it three times to make sure and so far it’s been giving me the Shadow Guard. So sorry it took this long, my life took an unfortunate turn and I am just now got back into a regular routine where I can finally put my effort back into Eldarya. Eldarya~Episode 4

I’m still using my Elda reference for the character, if you get confused please let me know or if I find a difference reference I’ll make sure to mention it. 

Also this is a rough translation by Google translate and my interpretation since sometimes the translations don’t make sense, when Eldarya is translated to English like MCL, I’ll update. So, if I do make a change I will bit the original translation in {...} curly brackets.

Since it’s the beginning of the game, it’s easy to keep track of the Love-o-meter amount, so I am going to try my best to show how much it will increase or decrease. 

Maana: 850-1000 depending on how lucky you are when looking for the guys. I think the most I used out of the 4-5 time I played through the episode was 1250 but that was mostly due to the fact I couldn’t find Kero sometimes XD/ This also includes the Maana purchases that you would have to make.

Maana ‘Money’: There are two items that you would have to BUY for the Faery test. One is the Purified Water for 42 Maana and the other is for the Selenite Fruit for 150-200 Maana  

Illustrations: There are only 2 illustrations in this episode, the first one is within the story line and the other one depends on the a response to an event. I will label where.

Hidden Items: There are two items you have to find in this episode. The Scarlet Rock and the Golden Sap

Eldarya~Episode 1-3

Note:

The first three episodes are very basic and there wasn’t really any opportunities to change the Love-o-meters in these episodes. Which is why I decided to put them together. They were basically explaining how the game work, like how to move and what the new features are. It’s really helpful, especially since there are noticeable differences compared to MCL.

Also, I’m still using my Elda reference for your character, if you get confused please let me know or if I find a difference reference I’ll make sure to mention it.

Illustrations: There are 5 illustrations all together. Only two of them are part of the story and the other three can only be gained by your choices.

Episode 1

This episode is just introducing Elda and how she gets to Eldarya. It is all dialogue and there is no choices to be made. You also get the first illustration and first tutorial on how to get to the illustrations and how to get to your inventory. This is also where the game lets you know that, unlike in MCL, in the illustrations Elda will be a base look instead of a customize look. (Which is a disappointment TTnTT)

 Both Miiko, a female kitsune, and Jamon, a boar-like guard, are introduced after the illustration when Elda tried to touch the Crystal. 

When something else happens, off screen Miiko orders Jamon to take Elda to the prison cell and it concludes the first episode.

Episode 2

Illustration: 2 possible, 3 in total

At the beginning, Elda recalls what happened in the previous episode and tries to find a way back home. She is let out of the cell by a masked man (who I really hope is datable later >////<) and Elda tries to get back home.

Here you get another tutorial on how to move between scenes, and in this episode there is no mana wasted as you experiment in moving. However from episode 3 and onwards, each time you move 10 mana will be used. Also, like with MCL, at the bottom of the screen, you can see the objectives that you accomplished and what you need to do.

When Elda reach the top of the stairs, into the main room, the first set of choices can be made:

From here Elda can explore around, however to continue with the episode she has to enter the Pantry. Here she has another choice to make:

Don’t touch anything

Ezarel sees Elda and catches her in the kitchen, followed by him Miiko, Valkyon, Nevra, and Keroshane (or Kero) come into the Pantry. Elda explains how she got to Eldarya, got out of the cell, and that she wants to go home. Initially, Miiko orders for her to be put back to the cell, but Kerooffers her redemption and help him find the bread that went missing.

As both him and Elda are looking for the bread, Kero tells you a little bit of the Guards in Eldarya. After he tells her about them, they finally go out of the HQ and into the Refuge Eel where the next tutorial is introduces. It explains how to find hidden objects and shows the bread that is missing.

When they put the bread back, Ezarel is ‘recruited’ to help Elda to convince Miiko that she shouldn’t be put back in the cell and that she could be trusted. As they enter the Crystal Room another character (Leiftan >//////<) is introduced and in the end of the episode it was his interference that convinced Miiko to let Elda stay and become one of the guards. This then concludes the 2nd episode.

Episode 3

Note/Update: From here on out, mana is used to move around. Each step is 10 mana. When I first started, I used like 150-300 Maana, however when I played it again it was about 800 or so. Mostly because on certain times Kero was really hard to find and took forever to move forward. Plus they have you buy the Golden Shears for 240 Maana and the Eskimo Pie for 12 Maana.

To start off the episode, Kero talks about the Crystal, how it was shattered and the shards are spread out, and its importance to the people in Eldarya. Then he and Elda exit the Crystal Room and there is an objective to talk to all the boys before taking the test. 

You can’t go to the library until you do, they appear in different areas: The Forge, Corridor Guards, Pantry, and Main Hall. This area is one of the times were I lost a lot of mana just looking for the freakers. lol When they are found and talked to, the next destination is the library where Elda takes the test to see which guard she will be in.

From there Kero introduces familiars, and tells Elda that she needs to take another test so she can get one as well. To take the test, she has to travel from the library to the Corridor Guards. Kero says that he needs to go to the room to get the test and there is another choice Elda has to make.

This choice dictates who will help Elda in the rest of the episode:

Run away as fast as possible {Valkyon intercepts}

Back to the Crystal Room {Ezarel intercepts}

Slowly back away {Nevra intercepts}

Theres is short dialogue before Kero gives Elda the Familiar test.

Here, you encounter a new tutorial about the familiars and the treasure hunts that you can send the familiars on.

After taking the test, Elda will get an objective to ask the guys to give her a job.

“Really? Well, we can say that we cross paths often. If I believe in such a thing, I would say it is fate.” {When Elda go out to find the boys and she chose the Slowly back away option, she will get this response from Nevra.}

Then when she gets everyone’s responses about not have a job for her, she encounters Kero with a new character. His name is Mery and she has to help find his ‘friend’ which is a familiar that ran away.

Here there is another tutorial about the shops and how to buy the food and such.

Also, when I played, I made the mistake on going to the gates to go to the Terrier because that is where Kero tells you where the Crylasm hides. However, DO NOT do that, stay at HQ and search for the guy you encountered when you tried to get away from Kero. They will take you the the Terrier and you have a small private moment with them.

Valkyon

Note: As I said before, it doesn’t matter what you choose because there isn’t any change in the Love-o-meter when I played. Mostly, the differences are the reactions they guys give.

Then finally, after dealing with Mery and helping him with his familiar problem, he gives Elda a Crystal shard. An illustration of him giving her the shard is also provided.

This is the final choice: {Again these choices don’t effect the Love-o-meter but the reaction to whether or not Elda hides it is notable. Also it doesn’t matter if she tries to hide it because they end up finding out.}

The episode concluded with the chosen guy taking Elda to Miiko to show her the crystal Mery gave to her.

Eldarya~Epsiode 3: Familiar Test

Note:This test happens after you take the Guard test. Unlike the Guard test, you can switch your familiars as you play the game. This test that Kero gives you is just introducing the first three and giving you a familiar to start out with. He also explains how to take care of them and what to do :) Also I don’t want to give away how they will look like so I’ll show the egg X) lol I’m evil like that.

This little guy is a penguin with a tail!!! X3 He was adorable, he wasn’t too hard to get. Thinking about it, this little ‘test’ wasn’t as stressful as the Guard Test. lol

The Sabali was the most common one I kept on getting. He’s like a baby unicorn and really cute. They are all cute to be honest lol! Update: I did a couple of different answer sequences and this one got me Sabali in the English Version that just came out. Sabali was the only one that kinda changed versus the other ones. I’m still saving up maana and going through episode 3 a couple of times to make sure everything is going okay.

Eldarya~Episode 3: Guard Test

Note: This test determines which guard you’re going to be in, at this point in time it can NOT be changed once you taken the test. Even if you go back to play through the episode again you can’t change it. Mostly because the feature to play back to change the ‘history’ is not available yet.

Side note: I went through this test a whole bunch of times and I am convinced that there is a point system. I have yet to figure it out but when I do I’m gonna update this post :) Also, me being a dumb dumb I vaguely remember what the exact question and possible answers were (translation wise) so I’ll fix it later ***Update: I have gone the tests and so far they all gave me the guard it indicates. I am gonna do one more under the conditions one person told me about and put a note or update when I do it. Thank you everyone for your patience. Please let me know if there is any hiccups.***

Now to warn you, Shadow Guard is highlighted for this one, it’s because on a trial to find the Shadow Guard result I ended up getting Absynthe instead. So I ended up not having to intentionally get it as a result. When I figure out the point system I’ll fix it X3.

I’m in this Guard, I never realized it was one of the easiest (at least it’s equal to getting Absynthe Guard) until I was trying for the other two lol. Basically you need to go for the ‘army’ like answers, at least that’s what I did. The “Courage and Knife” bits got me cracking up.
