As good as the comic is, I miss OG Cuphead and Mugman bunches.

Despite popular beliefs, I believe BOTH cups and mugs cook like 5 star michellin chefs. Elder Kettle would never let them out into the world without full content stomachs (also haha get it they’re dishes haha get it food haha get it?)

I can see cuphead being good at this naturally as he is with most things but mugman would put in the deliberate effort to master the craft cause having good food is important to him

I was showing @boo-topia my old cuphead art and I remembered I made a circus au around 2021-2022 and it made me laugh bc its cute and old and whatever

So,, I made her a doodle of them as I would draw them now :3

enjoy some old design doodles, plus a watercolor and colored pencil painting of them performing on stage (this au lasted me like 3 days and then I gave up on it </3 maybe i'll bring it back who knows)

Why do Cuphead and Mugman have to wear Red and Blue clothes respectively? What color do you think they would wear if not the two?

Also offtop, i envy the way you (and other unrelated person) can dig deep into psychology and stuff. Wish i wasn't braindead and could come up with such stuff as well (so cool :ooo)

I spend a stupid amount of time psychoanalyzing the cups and it’s super sad to me that I have so much lore in my head but I can’t share the vision bc I don’t have the drive to make comics or anything with a consistent story, so this made me super happy to hear that the tiny bits I slip into my drawings here and there are noticed and appreciated :)
