Urm… Hello… Are we still alive? (Pls pls pls say yes)
I’ve got two NSFW posts waiting to be completed in my drafts… shivers. Perhaps they will be my comeback posts; despite the fact that writing NSFW things are sometimes so awkward after a while of not writing anything.
It all derived from an innocent crush, you must believe him. An infatuation, if you will, but yet innocent still.
He hadn't met someone like you before; he was always so preoccupied, too busy to look beyond the lense of knowledge. Until he made eyes on you, that it.
A simple morning, Skyrim's frosty air lingered like a papercut. His hands shivered under the worn gloves he had been gifted many years ago — he couldn't remember by who exactly. But he treasured them, nevertheless. His back stung with weariness from travel and his backpack.
It wasn't his first time in Windhelm, but it was his first time actually taking in the scenery. Bleak, as famously known. But still held an essence of wonder — cold and brilliant with so much history between its walls.
But who am I kidding? He wasn't looking at the walls or its history.
He was looking at you.
A noble; adorned in red silks, from Cyrodiil he wondered for a brief moment. Your hair: neat and styled professionally. Neck decorated with jewels, expensive jewels. You weren't just a simple noble, you were important. But that didn't matter. Not when your eyes met. By the Gods, how his heart rattled against his ribcage.
From that day forward, he found out as much as he could about you. You were a nobleperson from Cyrodiil, with an Imperial father and unknown mother. You were raised in wealth and love. Owning vineyards in the beautiful rural lands beside Skingrad, manors in the coastal city of Anvil. Travelling across the world, expanding business and hopefully meeting the one.
You didn't want an arranged marriage, he knew that. He read it in your diary. You left it on a bench in Riften, you really should be wary! Those pesky thieves could have snatched it... its a good job Miraak was there, watching, to help you... any weirdo could have read it!
He didn't pass it by hand, no way. He slid it under your door. He didn't want to he found.
For you to realise his face wasn't just a reoccurring dream, he was in fact a reality.
He never showed face, never said hello. He just watched and followed. But, he did make a deal with himself: once powerful, he will make you his. He knew your father wouldn't allow it.
The sanctuary finally felt like home again. Their outfit: black, red, skintight, and stained with blood; it caused an ache in Cicero's stomach as he watched with heavy and dark eyes.
Oh, how he wished he could travel with you more often.
See the world with you.
By your side. Always.
His heart thumped at the mere thought of watching you, always, guiding you.
Needing you.
Oh, how he needed you. So bad.
Your voice, ragged and rough. Your blade is still wet. Your lips curled into a slow smile. You laughed, like music to his ears.
Wait.
You're smiling. Laughing. At him? The stupid Nord, the stupid initiate?
His fist balled up, his leg bobbed up and down in a violent manner as he watched from the shadows. Always in the shadows. Watching you. He had since the day you met. Since the day you smiled his way. Showed him kindness. You never joked about the jester. No, you liked him. You respected him. But you didn't love him, did you? Never poor old Cicero! Forever the fool.
You were so dumb! You. Are. His. His flamed hair framed his face as he ducked his head, eyes glaring with poison. He wanted to rip that bastards face off. Maybe he would wear it. Would you like him if he looked like Stupid Nord Man? Or would you hate him? For taking the man who made you laugh out of your life?
Why are you still laughing? By the Void. Get a grip. He's not that funny.
You touched his arm. Why won't you touch Cicero instead? He's softer. Cleaner. Smells nice, too! Cicero just... didn't understand. Why. Him. Why not the fool? Just once. Pick him.
Cicero had always loved you. Since the day you met. Actually, quite some time before that, too. He watched you that day in Whiterun. Oh, he felt so... Alive. Fresh into Skyrim and already in love? The Night Mother surely graced him with you for all the hard work he's ever done. You're a gift. His gift. Not that stupid man's. No. You're his.
And he'll make sure you'll never fall into the arms of a lesser person. Never. Cicero enjoys the kill. He's sure that the Night Mother would turn a blind eye... all in the name of true love!
Your secret was a painful one, and one that had you holding your breath every time a mortal was in your presence. You didn't choose vampirism, it was cursed upon you during your travels. Even though it's a goal of yours to rid yourself of said curse, a man by the name of Kaidan flipped that plan upside down. Between the potential threat of the end of the world and the Thalmor that drove their swords up your asses at each turn didn't make it easy to find the cure.
You were hungry, so much so that your teeth ached against your gums and as the sun glared down upon you, you craved for the cold weather, where Skyrim's sky grew dreary and upsetting; everything was heightened and you felt as if you were about to pass out.
Kaidan didn't pay much attention. He was still aching at the bones from the torture that he endured up the abandoned prison. He noticed you wince whenever he'd press at the wounds, the blood seeping through his wraps. But he gathered that maybe you're a little squeamish. Who was he to judge?
And the fact that you wore your hood up all day, then again, maybe you're trying to lay low. Who knows? It's not every day that a general member of the public goes delving in abandoned prisons that's threatening to collapse. You're obviously a person that's either up to no good or up to something. He can't judge about that either. He's not exactly got the cleanest background.
So he allows space between you both. He doesn't want to step on any toes, you saved his life, and the best he can do is shut up and try to allow himself to heal.
But on the inside, you're bubbling away. Each time he unravels the wrappings, when he cleans himself, you watch the blood mingle with river, and you feel your fangs protrude in your mouth, angry and sharp. But you can't. No, you really can't. You need to heal. You need to get a black soul gem. You need to.
As the sun melts into the horizon, you watch it with glee as your shoulders sag in relief. It’s almost night, the sun would give you a few hours of mercy and Kaidan would soon sleep, leaving you to venture into the woods to feed on its wildlife — it wasn’t the best, but it helped you survive, not to turn to ash in the sun or die of literal starvation. But you couldn’t ignore the pounding in your head, you needed a cure and fast; or soon you would feed on human life, and so far, Kaidan has proven to not only be useful but he’s also not that bad to travel with. You really didn’t want to wake up covered in his blood and his body mauled like a bear lost a competition and threw a fit of rage.
Returning from the edges of the river, an alchemy pouch dropped from his hand and onto the floor, “just found it, might have some stuff you’d like.” Kaidan shrugs, poking his fingers at the fresh wounds against his torso. Wincing, you look away and grab the pouch.
A few ingredients flooded from the pouch but something seemed stuck, probably a stupid soul gem, not the kind that you wanted, anyway. Pulling it out, your eyes widen as you take in the inky-toned gem. “By the Gods.” You could have cried.
“You hungry?” Kaidan asks, stirring the pot as he shrugs off the coming cold. You forgot what it felt like to feel cold. To feel anything slightly human. But you had a chance now. Finally.
“No, I’m not.” You say, still looking at the black soul gem. “Tomorrow we're heading straight to Morthal.”
From inside of the dense thickets, your teeth ached against the withering being as it shook on the floor, sad and wide eyes blinking in paralysed terror. You learned to look away, not being able to withstand the guilt. Killing bad people is easy, robbing the rich is easier still, but taking innocent animal life stung. But it wouldn’t cost you your life in the dungeons, or getting killed by the Dawnguard. No, feasting on animals was safer.
“What in the…” A voice, a very unique and memorable voice called from behind you. Looking back in fear, you wipe your mouth and stand up, your entire body tenses up as Kaidan watches you. Fiery red eyes, long and jarring fangs, your mouth covered in blood and your skin glowed in the moonlight. “You’re a … a vampire?”
His knuckles whiten against his sword, his jaw clenches and for the first time, he looks at you with disgust. You can smell the fear radiate from him, his blood is stricken with betrayal — you’re a liar. You deceitful little bitch.
“No!” You shout before he walks any closer, your blood eyes shaking in… fear? He quirks a brow up, aren’t you the predator here? So why do you look so.. Ashamed. So scared.
You’re a monster. Not something to sympathise with, you lied. Lured him in.
“The black soul gem,” you raise it up in the air. “I filled it just. That’s why we’re going to Morthal, I know someone who can cure me, please, believe me, Kaidan.” You beg, your entire face scrunches up in remorse.
Kaidan remains conflicted as he loosens his grip on his sword with hesitation, “why didn’t you tell me this before?” His question almost makes you laugh because isn’t it obvious?
“I knew that you would react like this. To try and kill me.” You say with a deflated tone. “Just believe me, Kaidan. I beg of you.”
Kaidan stands in the cold for a few moments, looking you over before sighing, “fuck. Alright. Straight to Morthal, we’ll head off now. The sooner that you’re cured the better. You can't live off of animals forever.”
You finally breathe out, your entire body relaxes as he allows the edge of his sword to drag across the floor rather than your neck as you head back to camp. You both clear the camp up and set off early into the morning where you can keep your hood off and tell Kaidan all about the curse and how it met you.
Kaidan doesn't know about this little fun fact about you. He just thinks that it's your favourite position to cuddle in — with your head on his chest. He thinks it's about warmth and general comfort.
He loves to cuddle, he loves to feel close to you, and due to his height, more times than not, your ear will be placed around that region anyway, so as a werewolf with a love for the sound of his heartbeat, that's great.
If you're a vampire, you're... Well... Fucked.
If it's something you wouldn't tell him, maybe due to embarrassment of sorts, he'd probably never know.
The furs scattered the bed in a messy formation of multicoloured mountains that encase the limbs underneath — yours and Kaidan's. His big hands, scarred and loved, traced circles on your body, silently drawing the letters to both of your names like a prayer. How much this man loved you, only the Gods knew the fullest extent. Even Mara blushed at his thoughts towards you.
You noticed his heart would pick up in pace every so often, always as you would move your hands. To play with his hair. Trace his features. Line the markings on his skin. Where you kiss that place on his collarbone. You smiled against his skin as your fingertips absorbed the pace of his heart, how warm your stomach felt as his breathing slowed into a lullaby of deep breaths and tiny sighs. But as always, his heart still skipped a beat as your fingers curled his inky hair lazily.
Moments like those reminded you both what it meant to be alive. To have a heartbeat. To know he was safe. Okay. You held a lot on your shoulders, knowing he could die, all because he wanted to stick by your side. The thought terrified you. So these moments were everything. To fall asleep as you tapped your finger to each beat his heart made. Repeating the rhythm like a mantra, or a poem, maybe. The poem he'd write for you every night.
His hand reached over to yours, gently kissing the finger that tapped, "Can't sleep, love?" He asked, deep voiced and riddled with much needed sleep. You simply shrugged your shoulders, not keen on the idea of saying, 'I can't sleep if I don't take in each beat of your heart.'
Instead, you say, "Not really. You?" Your finger continued to tap, even as he held your hand. A routine, a habit. He hummed out, wondering what song you were thinking of. But instead of asking, he joined in, smiling in the darkness until he laughed a little.
"What song is it?" He asked.
You held back a giggle, of course he thought it was a song.
"Ragnar the Red." You lied, a smile spread across your face. You felt him frown. You were out of tune. He knew you were no bard, but surely not that bad?
"Ah, right. Love, never become a singer." He jested, you both laughed as his crimson eyes watched the ceiling with sleepiness.
"Nah, I'm more of a ... Poet."
"You're definitely something. Now sleep, long day tomorrow." He kissed the top of your head before shrugging his body into comfort.
As you planted a kiss against the bare skin that cloaked his heart, you made sure not to forget to listen as it beat in tune with your own.
i hope you all have a wonderful time, and a brilliant new years.

This man notices straight away, and he is right there by your side—he told you to stay home. He had a feeling that something would happen like this.
His hands take a grasp of you, picking you up from the ground, "Come on, let's get you home, yeah?" His gravelly voice was softer than usual as he wiped the dirt from your cheek; the blood dribbling from the cotton of your torn shirt; the fur of your armour was long disregarded on the floor during your panic.
The horse galloped back, your hands pressing into the wound as each click against the floor jolted your body, sending shots of excruciating pain throughout your body.
"Come on." He says, helping you from off the horse, leading you back up to Jorvaskr with strong arms and hurried legs.
Once back, he is at your side until you feel better. He stays up when you sleep. He makes sure to keep your wound clean, to check up on it to know that it's healing correctly; he's worried sick, really.
#FARKAS
You woke up under the weather, and you best believe that this man feels terrible for you—he just doesn't really know how to show it.
So, instead, he places a tankard of water beside you on the bedside table. He plays with your hair as he presses a kiss against your forehead.
Farkas makes sure that you stay in bed and that you rest up properly.
He doesn't want you to be anymore ill than you already are—especially since that Whiterun is beginning to cool due to winter.
He doesn't speak much, he doesn't know what to say, so he shows his affection and worry by just simply looking after you.
Kaidan is a hesitant person, but he loves so hard.
At first, he becomes distant. You've created a friendship, but he's sort of losing it mentally, so he distances until he feels better.
This could last a week, hours, minutes, whatever. So he can come across as very hot and cold at first.
He also becomes more wary on your health and well-being, often telling you off for nearly hurting yourself and has the tendency to jump in and take down an enemy that even looks a bit bigger than you are, its cute at times, annoying most of the time.
He knows that you are capable, he just doesn't want to lose you.
Kaidan is a gifter. especially homemade things. From charms and bracelets to silly things like rocks he found by the beaches that looked cool and if you keep them, his heart will quite literally burst from his chest.
He takes note of everything you like and speak on, to make sure to buy something you like, attempt to cook your favourite meal to even making sure to not speak on topics that are sensitive for you.
Kaidan is a perceptive man generally, for you he is all the more watchful.
His way of asking you out is either two things:
Confessing in a tavern while drunk out of his mindddd, he is sloshed and just spills it out, and rather loudly, too. You wait till morning to finish the conversation... Or at least when his hangover isn't so bad...
Or, in the middle of a heated argument. Most likely about your health and recklessness. You are so giving, always accepting to help others and it makes him angrier than it should, you should care more for yourself! So he slips it out and the argument is long forgotten.
Once dating he is sooo goofy.
Sexual innuendos go crazy, followed with a little giggle that contrasts massively with his deep voice.
He is very touchy, especially in private and just loves the feeling of your skin on his, he likes to know that you are with him and safe.
Kaidan is a secret romantic and will write little poems on scraps of paper and draw you and things you like messily with chalk and he'd love it if you ever did it back.
After a long time travelling, his favourite thing to do it just relax with his head against your chest, your hands running through his hair as you tell him stories before you met, even if he's heard of them before.
His whole life has been filled with him learning things the harsh way and he loves to listen to silly stories from you.
His life has become so much better since you entered it, and he wouldn't change that for the world, not even his past.
