This Apple Elderflower Pomegranate Hot Smoothie is a delicious and soothing drink made with warming spices and the tastes of apples, elderflower, and pomegranate. On a cold day or when you just want a warm drink, this is perfect.
Ingredients: 2 apples, peeled, cored, and diced. 1/2 cup elderflower cordial. 1/2 cup pomegranate juice. 1 cup water. 1 tablespoon honey optional. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg. A pinch of salt.
Instructions: Put the apple slices, elderflower cordial, pomegranate juice, and water in a saucepan. Slowly raise the heat and let the mixture boil for a few minutes. Then lower it and let it cook for another ten minutes, or until the apples are soft and fully cooked. Honey, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and a pinch of salt should all be mixed in. Carefully blend the hot mixture until it is smooth and creamy with a regular blender or an immersion blender. Put the hot smoothie into mugs and serve right away.
