You or Someone Like You (refreshing mint mojito poured on a sun-warmed freshly clipped lawn next to a budding rose bush) This is my summer fragrance. It is unlike anything and I’m so intoxicated by it. On my skin it dries to a clean lavender. It’s phenomenal and lives in my purse.

Yess Rien. Rien is leather and jet fuel and recycled cabin air, worn orange canvas, polyester straps, with a hint of clean boi smell. Poe Dameron 10000%

Marquis De Sade Attaquer Le Soleil Do you wanna smell like a redwood tree in a Northern California heatwave?? Because this is that. It’s sooo resinous and divine. I am a sucker for that woody incense. It’s such a competent smelling fragrance. You’d smell like you have many leather bound books and all your socks match. It’s a solid base perfume for layering lighter florals or citrus on top too.

The Spice Must Flow Duke Leto. My winter fragrance. This is a head turner, people will compliment you and ask you what you’re wearing. the oud, the desert rose, and the incense are so high quality, this lasts a super long time especially if you spray it on your scarves or wool sweaters. It’s classy and perfect for winter get togethers. It has a Royal regal air to it. Miranda Preistly would totally wear this, ykwim?

In all fairness I should mention these are not their most popular fragrances! Those would be She Was An Anomaly, I Am Trash, Like This, Une Amorette, and Fat Electrician. But I don’t really care for those tbh 🤷‍♀️

So in the interest of getting slightly into fragrances and perfumes and such,

I bought a sampler box from Etat Libre d'Orange since I got a sample of 'She was an Anomaly' like 2 years ago and still love it.

Their well known fragrance 'Fat Electrician' smells like the best mix of cinnamon, cloves and WD-40. Very comfy, thick and warm. It's like a fuckin well worn leather arm chair. This smells like an old hardcover book. This is butch-gender for sure, imo.

My beloved 'She was an Anomaly' smells like neon colored synthetic Plum with maybe a touch of mint/eucalyptus and estrogen. This is chardonnay and strawberry. It knows it's fake(?) and is FUCKING proud of it. This is a trans/nonbinary scent for sure. This is hyper-pop, this is an Alice Gas song, sweet-tarts. This is distorted Hello-Kitty meme edits.

'Eau de Protection - Rossy de Palma' is maybe my new favorite and smells of bergamot and black pepper and quite frankly Blood. It's fucking great. It hangs around and has a metallic sharpness like a switchblade in your pocket. One of my favorite smells is black pepper so I'm biased.

'I am Trash - Les Fleurs du Dechet' smells like a slightly fermented apple. Holy shit it shure smells like a fuckin apple. Eh. It's literally a sweet apple cider (vinegar) thingy. Meh. As an assigned possum-kin I was truly hoping for more :(
