Celestial Bodies
for anyone curious what Eldritch Ink might look like, here's my version of him
i haven't designed an outfit yet but just know he had the lower half of a spider
I've designed my version of Eldritch Ink (who I've named Horizon)
Kore brought up that Horizon would have spider legs and I really loved that concept so I kept it in this reference of him.
His clothes are optional since he would technically be too large to wear any fabric, and even then he would forget to wear them.
More information will be added under his name in the tags soon ^^
What would happen if I gave the eldritch gods cake? :3
Something like this?
More Eldritch Twins facts:
- The Forgotten One (Passive Nm) has no memories of his past but he does still feel a pull toward Dream and things that remind him of Dream.
- Dream does remember The Forgotten one but doesn't try to actively look for him. He sees him as a stray cat roaming around and doesn't give him a lot of priority.
- Fresh is an AWFUL deal maker. He waits for you to be at a low point before giving you a small deal, then he comes back again and again with progressively darker and darker deals.
(You ask for a pet cat, he asks that you hurt a family member. You ask for a new car, and he asks you to kill someone. You ask for money and riches, and he asks that you burn childhood items of significance to you.)
- Every horror has a connection to something. Nightmare is connected to water and the sea. Error and Ink are connected to spiders and webs. Fresh is connected to primodial fear. Reaper is connected to darkly colored animals of all kinds. Dream is connected to peacocks and other birds.
Continuing from the last ask about how the eldritch cults feel about each other:
Error's followers and cult never see other people once they've converted. They all reach out to Error and are immediately taken away to be put into his pocket dimension.
Ink's cult is barely existent. Most are killed off or worship him in secret. They loveInk but catching his attention will most definitely get them killed. They don't see other cults much and are considered the roaches of the followers.
Nightmare's cult sees Dream's cult members a lot mostly out of rivalry. They are convinced that their patron is better and fight the other cult all the time over it.
Dream's followers are much the same, but rather than lashing out, they try to lure members in from the other side and recruit them like evangelicals.
Reaper's cult is the most 'cult-like'. They sacrifice animals and people to try and get Reaper's attention and beg him to grant eternal life. They don't care about the other cults, too busy with their own mission.
I ALMOST FORGOT FRESH
Fresh's cult are almost like a zombie plague. Parasite-ridden bodies that usually multiply and spread from the outskirts of towns to major cities. Planets and worlds taken over by his 'offspring'. All of the cults fear the parasitic plague.
Can you make a poll about which cult would we join?
Of Nightmare, Dream, Error, and Ink.
Likely one of first three would win but I'd side with Ink just because I think he'd be the one who'd see me more as a friend thus allowing me to continue having a relatively normal life.
I don't care if we'd have to use pen and paper to communicate, I love Splatoon music even if I don't know what the funk they are saying.
*Also, how tall is Eldritch Ink compared Nightmare and/or Dream to Error?*
Hahaha! That's a cool idea! Kinda like sorting ourselves into factions for funsies. I'll try to set one up soon ^^
As for heights, I'm still working on that! Me and Kore hadn't considered it yet outside the fact that Error is around 25ft tall (or 7.62m)
I have a question about Eldritch Ink, what is he the god of exactly?
I made a headcanon post about him, sorry I am just so invested that I want more world building about things other than the twins, like what does Error's pocket dimension look like? Or how technologically advanced the world is? Maybe drive into the relationships between the different cults.
Is this brainrot?
1. What is Eldritch Ink the god of?
Well, see, that's tricky because they're not really 'gods'. They don't stick to doing one thing like 'god of war' or 'god of creation'. They just do whatever they want, it just so happens that Error destroys and has near absolute authority and the twins favor emotions.
All I have so far is that Ink is prone to accidentally killing 90% of his followers just be getting too excited and that he regularly gets into fights with Error over shattering multiple realities.
2. What does Error's pocket dimension look like?
Error's pocket dimension is basically a multiverse. Everything is normal sized and once you leave it, you're the same size as when you went in.
You can be... anywhere! There are almost infinite locations to explore.
3. How technologically advanced is the world?
I'm not sure if you mean his dimension or in general so I'll give both:
Error's dimension doesn't really have technology, no one needs it there. Serotonin is administered at request and most of the activities involve craft and sculpting. Sleeping is done in orderly cells and time moves at a constant rate no matter what. (Error is a control freak)
But in general, the timeline of events are in modern day.
4. How do the cults feel about each other?
I'll answer this separately bc this post is so long lmao
