#eldritch machine

I recently got Knight Rider brainrot again and it got mingled in with the deep space eldritch machine stuff I've been cooking for Ahye.

So here's some exploratory stuff regarding KITT. I sort of wanted to mix in some of the vibes I got from him in the show alongside his capabilities. So like that one set of drawings I did of KARR as an alien machine there's optics (the red orbs) that run down his back and sides as a stand in for the microscanner array. I decided to try something new regarding the eyes; I saw a post on here about Malaysian leaf frogs and their eyelids reminded me a bit of the flip up headlights the trans am had. So KITT gets fancy eyelids.

And of course for scale there's Michael the afterthought, because no matter how much I watch the show I can never remember what David Hasselhoff looks like and I don't feel like fishing out a reference. KITT is about as tall standing up as the dimensions of the trans-am are in terms of length, so close/midway to 16' in height.

OC redesign: Echo

I've been messing with Ahye's design some more, mainly messing with exploring a new design for the face and messing with some weird stuff they can do with their body. Part of that has to do with the bumps along the body- I'm thinking they are multi-functional, able to open up into extra eyes among other things that I have yet to mess with. Though I tried out some darker palettes to see how I feel about them, I still sort of like the idea of them being a sort of counterpart to Beak like Robeak had been.

Also messed with the idea of them being the typical pseudo-eyes that I like to use on other eldritch machine designs.

I'll have to mess with them some more before I'm satisfied with the design, but until then I'm liking how these explorations have turned out too.

I've been meaning to do an overhaul of Robeak, this time I'm leaning less towards the industrial machinery angle and decided to try out something along the lines of an eldritch machine from deep space, completely divorced from anything that would be recognized on the surface as a machine, but is not flesh and blood either.

They're sort of a parallel to Beak in a way, both of them being eldritch entities from deep space. Only one is a creation myth entity and the other is a mysterious, highly advanced machine.

I also decided to make them their own thing, instead of Robeak I've decided to name them Ahye instead.

Physical Drawing is a newer design variation, but am still annoyed that I am unable to translate the "vibes" of my stuff from physical to digital. For some reason drawing digitally just makes me lazier.
