Of course the moment I get back to front we have a new mouse problem. Sigh.

Of course the moment I get back to front we have a new mouse problem. Sigh.
I'm back online, though I'm not sure for how long. Been a while.
I can't BELIEVE there's a band called ? and the Mysterians I think I have to like them now
How would you feel if you met another immortal and they remembered your countless deaths? Would you befriend them?
I think potential friendship would depend more on their personality than their mortality, but I wouldn't mind giving it a shot. I'd be a bit concerned for their mental health if they stuck around, though. Being witness to so much horror all the time is bound to leave a body unsettled, even if they're used to it from a firsthand point of view. Like how some people who are too anxious to speak up for themselves won't hesitate to defend a friend, some things are just different when it happens to someone else.
I dunno how to ask this but other than immortality, what other powers does Mysterion have? He's eldritch so I'm pretty sure there's more to him than meets the eye
I can only speak for myself, but I had limited teleportation abilities and some informational abilities that weren't actually very helpful (i.e. I can sort of read R'Lyehian but it's not properly pronounceable with a human voice; knowing exactly how wrong you are and having to approximate anyway is annoying). A small complicated power to mark certain people/places/things as being mine in a way humans can't recognize (not mine like property, mine like family or home. Mutual belonging.) Some stuff I suspect but never had a chance to test, like whether or not a wild byakhee might recognize me.
I do know a bit more about my exact eldritch nature than my "canon" counterpart: the cult was trying to summon Cthulhu but they butchered their reading and called his half-brother Hastur instead, and I incarnated in a human form with a totally scrambled sense of self. Hastur is royalty among Great Old Ones, has been regarded as a god of shepherds, and has domain over "Spaces Between", a vague term that usually means interstellar space but can be used for territorial disputes or uncertainty (i.e. international waters, limbo, moments of split decision). Pretty sure that's where the teleportation comes from, but I never got especially good at it past short hops.
*at a Coon and Friends meeting*
Mosquito: so being an edgy badboy must help you pick up chicks even more than the superhero bit, right?
Me: Mysterion is celibate.
Mosquito: you're WHAT? You?? You're kidding, right?
Me, absolutely not about to explain the difference between me & Kenny: *Justin McElroy voice* I'm writing it on mY GODDAMN CHARACTER SHEET-
Hey! I'm so glad your account exists! Mysterion is a huge comfort character of mine and I just wanna let you know that I'm glad you exist and uh that's really all sorry if this is awkward, just thank you so much for existing you're really cool ok bye!
No need to worry, anon. It's part of a superhero's job to bring comfort to the people around them, so really I should thank you. Be safe.
Fanon: removes Kenny & Lady's hood at every opportunity, gives Mysterion a dinky little domino mask and the loosest hood imaginable with every inch of hair sticking out
Us: autistic, dysphoric, actively researching ways to cover our head more because hats leave the back of our head open and it freaks us out, shopping for snazzy masks to wear so we never have to bare our face in public again even after the medical need passes
